IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect - Remote - Outside IR35 You will act as the technical authority for IT Asset Management, designing scalable solutions across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Cloud Asset Management, CMDB, and ServiceNow platforms. The position is ideal for an experienced ITAM Architect with strong ServiceNow, enterprise architecture, governance, and asset lifecycle management expertise. IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect Responsibilities Define and maintain the enterprise IT Asset Management strategy and roadmap. Design target operating models for Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Cloud Asset Management. Lead the architecture and governance of ServiceNow ITAM solutions, including HAM Pro, SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM integrations. Design scalable integrations between asset repositories, procurement systems, ERP platforms, cloud platforms, and discovery tools. Govern the complete lifecycle of hardware, software, and cloud assets from procurement through to retirement and disposal. Define software licensing strategies, entitlement management, licence optimisation, and compliance processes. Develop governance frameworks, policies, standards, KPIs, reporting, and audit controls. Support software vendor audits and asset compliance initiatives. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Procurement, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, and Service Management teams. Produce architecture documentation, operating models, solution blueprints, and integration designs. IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect Skills and Experience Significant experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) architecture and governance. Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro, ServiceNow SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM. Experience designing enterprise ITAM operating models and governance frameworks. Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Cloud Asset Management, and Configuration Management. Experience integrating ITAM platforms with procurement, ERP, finance, cloud, and discovery platforms. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments. Strong understanding of software licensing models including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Adobe, and VMware. Knowledge of ISO 19770 and IT Asset Management best practices. Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, leadership, and communication skills. Experience producing enterprise architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and governance standards. ITIL Foundation certification required. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (HAM Pro and/or SAM Pro), TOGAF, IAITAM, or similar certifications would be highly advantageous. Server Tooling and Orchestration Specialist - Remote - Outside IR35 Must have or be eligible to obtain SC Clearance The role combines hands-on SCORCH runbook development and troubleshooting with PowerShell automation and integrations across ServiceNow, SCOM, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. This position is suited to an experienced SCORCH specialist who understands enterprise automation and is comfortable taking ownership of critical production services within an ITIL-aligned environment. Server Tooling and Orchestration Specialist Responsibilities Administer, support and maintain Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) environments. Maintain the availability, health, performance and resilience of production and non-production SCORCH platforms. Design, maintain, test, deploy and optimise SCORCH runbooks. Develop and support PowerShell-based automation workflows for request fulfilment and operational automation. Diagnose failed automations, integration failures and workflow errors. Manage integrations between SCORCH, ServiceNow, SCOM, Active Directory, Azure AD / Entra ID, Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams. Support ServiceNow ITSM workflows, automated ticket creation, request fulfilment and REST API integrations. Support SCOM alert processing, event management and monitoring integrations. Plan and deliver patching, upgrades, releases, capacity management and platform lifecycle activities. Investigate incidents and problems affecting automation services and contribute to root cause analysis. Support service restoration and major incidents involving automation, monitoring or integration services. Produce and maintain operational documentation, runbook guidance, knowledge articles and support procedures. Deliver changes in line with ITIL processes, security controls, SLAs and agreed change windows. Server Tooling and Orchestration Specialist Skills and Experience Strong hands-on Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCORCH) experience is essential. Proven experience supporting, troubleshooting and maintaining SCORCH runbooks and automation services. Experience designing, testing and deploying Orchestrator runbooks within enterprise environments. Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience. Desirable Experience of ServiceNow Integration experience Experience with Kelverion Integration Packs would be advantageous. Experience with SQL Always On Availability Groups, Hyper-V Replica or highly available SCORCH architectures would be beneficial. VMware PowerCLI, virtualisation, hybrid Data Centre or wider infrastructure automation experience would be advantageous. Experience supporting secure, regulated or highly governed environments would be beneficial. Flexibility to support out-of-hours activities where required.
