Network Operations Engineer - WAN & BGP and Linux or Kubernetes Must have an Active DV Clearance Can be located in London, Farnborough or Corsham You will work across traditional networking and cloud-native technologies, maintaining air-gapped Kubernetes environments, improving network performance, and driving automation across critical platforms. The position is ideal for an experienced Network Operations Engineer with strong networking, Kubernetes, and Linux expertise who enjoys solving complex technical challenges within secure environments. Network Operations Engineer Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and optimise secure cloud platform network infrastructure. Support air-gapped Kubernetes environments and maintain secure cross-cluster communications. Implement network changes that improve reliability, resilience, security, and performance. Troubleshoot complex networking and platform issues across cloud-native environments. Support Layer 2 to Layer 7 networking technologies, BGP, and multi-tenant WAN environments. Develop and maintain automation to improve operational efficiency and platform scalability. Work closely with engineering teams to support production Kubernetes workloads. Participate in an on-call support rota and resolve operational incidents. Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Network Operations Engineer Skills and Experience Essential: Active DV Clearance. Strong experience supporting WAN and BGP secure network operations within enterprise environments. Experience supporting Linux systems administration or Kubernetes Desirable - must have at 2-3 of the below: Experience with IP networking, Layer 2 to Layer 7 protocols and multi-tenant WAN environments Air-gapped Kubernetes environments and cross-cluster networking. Good understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts and production Kubernetes platforms. Experience with CNI technologies such as Cilium and Service Mesh technologies such as Istio would be advantageous. Experience with MPLS Layer 3 VPNs or cloud-native networking technologies is desirable. Experience automating infrastructure using Git, Bash, or Python. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working within telecommunications or highly secure operational environments. Cloud FinOps Architect - Remote - Outside IR35 Initially, you will support customer workshops through preparation, attendance, and follow-up activities, with the opportunity to move into a longer-term engagement delivering the full Cloud FinOps strategy. The position is ideal for an experienced Cloud FinOps Architect with strong cloud architecture, financial management, governance, and enterprise transformation expertise. Cloud FinOps Architect Responsibilities Define and maintain the enterprise Cloud FinOps strategy, roadmap, and target operating model. Design governance frameworks, standards, and architectural patterns for Cloud Financial Management. Lead Cloud FinOps transformation and maturity improvement initiatives. Analyse cloud consumption and identify opportunities for rightsizing, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, storage optimisation, SaaS licence optimisation, and cost reduction. Develop budgeting, forecasting, chargeback, showback, and cost allocation models. Build executive dashboards, KPIs, reporting frameworks, and financial governance controls. Design and govern FinOps tooling and integrations across cloud, ERP, CMDB, ITSM, and business intelligence platforms. Support governance for AI, SaaS, GPU, Machine Learning, and Large Language Model (LLM) consumption. Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Engineering, Product Teams, and Technology Leadership to maximise the value of cloud investments. Present cloud financial insights, optimisation opportunities, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders. Cloud FinOps Architect Skills and Experience Significant experience in Cloud Architecture, FinOps, Cloud Operations, or Technology Financial Management. Proven experience implementing enterprise Cloud FinOps programmes. Strong experience across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and hybrid cloud environments. Strong knowledge of cloud billing models, cloud financial governance, and cloud cost optimisation. Experience developing chargeback, showback, budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation models. Hands-on experience with FinOps platforms including Apptio Cloudability, CloudHealth, Azure Cost Management, AWS Cost Explorer, and native cloud billing platforms. Experience integrating FinOps tooling with ERP platforms, CMDBs, ITSM platforms, and business intelligence solutions. Strong understanding of FinOps Foundation principles, Cloud Well-Architected Frameworks, Enterprise Architecture, ITIL, and IT Asset Management (ITAM). Experience supporting AI, SaaS, GPU, Machine Learning, and Large Language Model (LLM) cost governance would be highly advantageous. Excellent stakeholder management, commercial awareness, analytical, and executive communication skills. FinOps Certified Practitioner, FinOps Certified Professional, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or ITIL certifications would be advantageous. IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect - Remote - Outside IR35 You will act as the technical authority for IT Asset Management, designing scalable solutions across Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Cloud Asset Management, CMDB, and ServiceNow platforms. The position is ideal for an experienced ITAM Architect with strong ServiceNow, enterprise architecture, governance, and asset lifecycle management expertise. IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect Responsibilities Define and maintain the enterprise IT Asset Management strategy and roadmap. Design target operating models for Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and Cloud Asset Management. Lead the architecture and governance of ServiceNow ITAM solutions, including HAM Pro, SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM integrations. Design scalable integrations between asset repositories, procurement systems, ERP platforms, cloud platforms, and discovery tools. Govern the complete lifecycle of hardware, software, and cloud assets from procurement through to retirement and disposal. Define software licensing strategies, entitlement management, licence optimisation, and compliance processes. Develop governance frameworks, policies, standards, KPIs, reporting, and audit controls. Support software vendor audits and asset compliance initiatives. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Procurement, Finance, Enterprise Architecture, and Service Management teams. Produce architecture documentation, operating models, solution blueprints, and integration designs. IT Asset Management (ITAM) Architect Skills and Experience Significant experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) architecture and governance. Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow HAM Pro, ServiceNow SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, and ITSM. Experience designing enterprise ITAM operating models and governance frameworks. Strong understanding of Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), Cloud Asset Management, and Configuration Management. Experience integrating ITAM platforms with procurement, ERP, finance, cloud, and discovery platforms. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments. Strong understanding of software licensing models including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Adobe, and VMware. Knowledge of ISO 19770 and IT Asset Management best practices. Strong stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, leadership, and communication skills. Experience producing enterprise architecture documentation, solution blueprints, and governance standards.
