Senior Network Engineer Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire (Hybrid Working - Onsite Once a Week or Fortnightly) Up to £68,500 + great pension + 27 days holiday + bank holidays + life assurance + health cash plan + company sick pay + EAP + standby and call-out payments + excellent training and development opportunities Are you an experienced Network Engineer with recent hands-on Aruba expertise, looking for a technically varied role where you can take ownership of a complex multi-site infrastructure, influence network design decisions, and play a key role in delivering secure, high-performing network solutions across a large enterprise environment? You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing a multi-site network estate, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. In this role you will combine operational support with project delivery, working on network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements. You will also contribute to solution design, technical documentation, and the evaluation of third-party proposals, helping to ensure solutions align with business and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise networking experience and recent exposure to Aruba technologies. Whilst experience across the full Aruba portfolio is not essential, knowledge of Aruba Central, ClearPass, AOS-S, AOS-CX, Aruba Wireless, or SD-WAN would be highly advantageous. Experience with Cisco networking technologies and modern firewall platforms will also be beneficial. The Role: *Support and maintain a complex multi-site network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments *Investigate and resolve advanced network incidents, carrying out root cause analysis *Deliver network upgrades, changes, and infrastructure improvement projects *Contribute to network design, technical documentation, and vendor solution reviews *Monitor and enhance network performance, security, resilience, and capacity The Person: *Strong experience within enterprise-level, multi-site networking environments *Solid understanding of routing, switching, VPNs, wireless networking, and network security *Recent hands-on experience with Aruba switching and/or wireless technologies *Knowledge of Aruba Central, ClearPass, AOS-S, AOS-CX, AOS-8, AOS-10, or Aruba SD-WAN is advantageous *Experience with Cisco technologies and firewall platforms such as Palo Alto or Fortinet Reference Number: BBBH277335 Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
