Problem Manager - Remote - Outside IR35 Must have an active SC Clearance The role covers Problem Records, Known Errors, Workarounds, trend analysis, Post Incident Reviews and continual service improvement. This position is suited to an experienced Problem Manager with strong IT service management expertise who is comfortable working across technical teams, customers and senior service stakeholders. Problem Manager Responsibilities Own and manage the end-to-end Problem Management process and associated governance. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations into major, recurring and complex incidents. Coordinate technical and service teams to identify underlying causes of service issues. Create, maintain and manage Problem Records throughout their lifecycle. Identify and document Known Errors and appropriate Workarounds. Develop and track corrective and preventative actions through to completion. Analyse incident trends and recurring service issues to identify potential problems before further disruption occurs. Lead Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) and ensure agreed actions are documented and completed. Drive continual service improvement initiatives based on problem trends, RCA findings and lessons learned. Ensure lessons learned are captured, communicated and embedded across relevant service teams. Produce clear Root Cause Analysis reports for customers, leadership and service teams. Work closely with Incident Management, Change Management, technical resolver groups and service stakeholders to improve service stability. Problem Manager Skills and Experience Strong experience working within Problem Management in complex IT service environments. Proven experience owning and governing the Problem Management lifecycle. Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience. Experience leading Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) following major or recurring incidents. Experience creating and managing Problem Records and Known Error Records. Strong understanding of Known Error Management and the development of operational Workarounds. Experience producing and managing Corrective Action Plans and Preventative Improvement Plans. Strong incident trend analysis and recurring problem identification experience. Experience driving continual service improvement and preventative action initiatives. Strong understanding of IT service management processes and the relationship between Problem, Incident and Change Management. Experience producing RCA reports, service improvement documentation and lessons learned. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical teams, customers and senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate multiple technical teams through complex investigations. We're looking to recruit initially 2 excellent Software Engineers to work with an existing team of 4 software developers on a very large strategic consulting engagement. We are looking for a DV cleared Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing operations support team. The preferred candidate will demonstrate effective application of Infrastructure and extensive knowledge across a variety of technologies such as Linux (Ubuntu / CentOS), Microsoft Windows Server (including services such as AD, DNS, DHCP) and virtualisation (Hyper-V), Microsoft Stack Technologies (Sharepoint, SQL Server, Skype for Business / Teams), networking technologies and storage. The role will provide technical exposure variance across both outcomes based project activities and operational (Business as Usual) support activities. The duties of the role will also include providing remote and on-site support. There is also a requirement to provide out of hours on call support. You will be expected to contribute towards the creation and ongoing maintenance of technical documentation and provide material to support the project work or the operational support service. IT Support Analyst/Engineer with Level 1 and Level 2 Role Description This full-time IT Support Analyst/Engineer role covers both Level 1 and Level 2 support and is offered on a hybrid basis, with work primarily in London and some work from home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling incoming support tickets, responding to user queries, and providing first-line technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues. The role also involves performing more advanced second-line diagnostics, resolving complex incidents, escalating problems when required, and updating documentation and knowledge bases. The IT Support Analyst/Engineer will install and configure systems, manage user accounts and access permissions, monitor system performance, and assist with routine maintenance tasks and upgrades. Collaboration with other IT team members and clear communication with non-technical users are key aspects of the position. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Information Technology skills, including experience with common operating systems, hardware, and business applications. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions. Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to users at different levels of technical understanding. Assist the IT Manager in delivering various IT related projects by managing the day to day operational aspects of such projects. End User Computing support for all staff. (e.g. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, Phones/Mobiles and other IT equipment.) Networking Fundamentals – DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN. Good understanding of cybersecurity measures Coordinator between the London Users and Group IT Security on all requests for systems access and to ensure that such permissions are provided promptly, are regularly updated and that the Group Access Matrix Protocol is followed at all times. Preserve the Assets of the Office by implementing Disaster Recovery and back up procedures and ensuring that the standards comply with Group requirements. Undertake Data Extraction for reporting requirements for all the other stakeholders at the branch. To hold Administrator function for some of the systems housed at the Office. To plan and carry out maintenance checks to ensure IT Operations, infrastructures are running smoothly and ensure daily routine task completeness.
