Technical IT Manager Our Client a financial institution with offices in Reading, are looking to recruit an IT Manager to manage the infrastructure and technology for the company. The following are a list of functions for this position: Monitoring and management of the relationship with the managed service provider, including performance against SLAs, charges for non-standard items, complaints, changes to service System changes (software upgrades, introduction of new systems Non-standard requests (new software requests, different/more powerful laptops, etc) Acquisitions of businesses - guidance on how to absorb people and systems Security system monitoring - interpreting and managing output from the SOC (security operations centre) Software licensing (Microsoft, Mimecast, other systems (time recording, billing, marketing, etc) Change management (internal authorisation for significant system changes) Assistance to senior management in relation to IT issues (for example, integration with a new time/billing system) Response to technological change (e.g. major updates to Microsoft software, introduction of AI-based systems) Accreditation for security certificates (Cyber Essentials Plus, possibly ISO 27001) Assistance with AAF and other audits Management of joiner/leaver process Business continuity plan & disaster recovery This is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 days in the office at the offices in Reading. Dans le cadre du renforcement de ses capacités de cybersécurité, un acteur majeur d'infrastructures critiques recherche un Expert SOC / Incident Response Senior pour intégrer son équipe de sécurité opérationnelle. Vous jouerez un rôle central dans la détection, l'investigation et la réponse aux incidents de sécurité, tout en contribuant à l'évolution des capacités internes de cyberdéfense. Vos missionsInvestigation et analyse avancéePrendre en charge les escalades de niveau 3 du SOC. Mener les investigations techniques approfondies sur les incidents de sécurité. Analyser les compromissions potentielles et qualifier les menaces. Réaliser des activités de threat hunting afin d'identifier des comportements suspects ou des attaques non détectées. Réponse à incidentPiloter les actions techniques de confinement, d'éradication et de remédiation. Participer aux cellules de gestion de crise cyber. Produire les rapports d'investigation et les retours d'expérience. Maintenir et faire évoluer les procédures de réponse à incident. Pilotage et contrôle des activités SOCContrôler et challenger les analyses réalisées par le prestataire SOC (MSSP). Valider les détections critiques et la pertinence des alertes remontées. Participer au suivi des indicateurs de performance et de qualité du SOC. Maintien et évolution des capacités internesMaintenir les playbooks et procédures opérationnelles du SOC. Garantir une capacité de supervision et de monitoring autonome. Participer aux exercices de continuité et de résilience du SOC. Architecture et administration des outils de sécuritéContribuer à l'amélioration continue de l'architecture du SI de sécurité. Assurer l'administration et le maintien en conditions opérationnelles des plateformes SOC. Participer à la gestion des équipements de sécurité réseau.

Network Operations Engineer - WAN & BGP and Linux or Kubernetes Must have an Active DV Clearance Can be located in London, Farnborough or Corsham You will work across traditional networking and cloud-native technologies, maintaining air-gapped Kubernetes environments, improving network performance, and driving automation across critical platforms. The position is ideal for an experienced Network Operations Engineer with strong networking, Kubernetes, and Linux expertise who enjoys solving complex technical challenges within secure environments. Network Operations Engineer Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and optimise secure cloud platform network infrastructure. Support air-gapped Kubernetes environments and maintain secure cross-cluster communications. Implement network changes that improve reliability, resilience, security, and performance. Troubleshoot complex networking and platform issues across cloud-native environments. Support Layer 2 to Layer 7 networking technologies, BGP, and multi-tenant WAN environments. Develop and maintain automation to improve operational efficiency and platform scalability. Work closely with engineering teams to support production Kubernetes workloads. Participate in an on-call support rota and resolve operational incidents. Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Network Operations Engineer Skills and Experience Essential: Active DV Clearance. Strong experience supporting WAN and BGP secure network operations within enterprise environments. Experience supporting Linux systems administration or Kubernetes Desirable - must have at 2-3 of the below: Experience with IP networking, Layer 2 to Layer 7 protocols and multi-tenant WAN environments Air-gapped Kubernetes environments and cross-cluster networking. Good understanding of Kubernetes networking concepts and production Kubernetes platforms. Experience with CNI technologies such as Cilium and Service Mesh technologies such as Istio would be advantageous. Experience with MPLS Layer 3 VPNs or cloud-native networking technologies is desirable. Experience automating infrastructure using Git, Bash, or Python. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience working within telecommunications or highly secure operational environments.
