Contexte : Au sein de l'équipe réseau, l'administrateur(trice) Réseaux et Sécurité viendra renforcer l'équipe pour absorber la charge de RUN et mener des opérations de déploiement visant à faire évoluer nos infrastructures et notre sécurité informatique. Ses principales missions seront les suivantes : Support & RUN Traiter les tickets transmis par l'infogérant. Réduire le volume de tickets en rendant l'infogérant et les correspondants IT plus autonomes : Création et mise à jour de documentations / bases de connaissances ; Animation de sessions de formation ou de transferts de compétences. Évolutions et projets Migration du Wi-Fi invité (clé partagée → portail captif) Définir et maintenir la configuration des bornes par site dans Cloud4Wi. Garantir la version minimale du contrôleur Wi-Fi nécessaire au bon fonctionnement du portail. Activation du NAC sur des sites en production Organiser et piloter les phases d'audit, de remédiation et d'activation. Travailler sur les solutions Cisco Catalyst et Cisco ISE. Est amené à travailler directement avec : Les ingénieurs réseaux et sécurité de l'équipe. Les équipes DESIGN et BUILD. Les équipes en charge du RUN et le MSP. Les équipes régionales de la DSI. Les domaines applicatifs. L'équipe SSI. L'équipe Programme Cloud. Les fournisseurs de solutions réseaux. Compétences techniques attendues Switching: Cisco Catalyst 9200/9500, Nexus 9300, Meraki MS ; VTP, Spanning Tree, VPC, LACP, VLAN. Routing: Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Meraki SD-WAN ; BGP, OSPF. Wireless: Cisco C9800-CL, CW9172I, C9120AXI, AIR-AP2802I, Meraki MR ; RRM. Sécurité: Firewalls Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Umbrella ; Radius/Tacacs (Cisco ISE). Load Balancing & Proxy: F5. Outils: Catalyst Center, LiveNX. Services: DNS, NTP, DHCP. Qualités personnelles Compréhension des enjeux métiers et orientation client. Sensibilité forte aux enjeux de cybersécurité. Our Telecoms client is looking for a Principal Security Engineer. This is a 6 months contract initially and the role is outside IR35. Vast majority of work is expected to be remote - however there may be occasional travel to customer sites: Warwick / Wokingham / Corsham / Farnborough. Please note that due to the nature of the role SC clearance is required. Deliverables: -Technical Ownership of the Customers Security infrastructure estate, processes procedures, documentation and life cycle management. -Senior Technical point of reference for all Security related projects, Changes or modifications to firewall rule bases - Senior technical point of reference/escalation and interface into vendor support for all Incidence related to the security infrastructure. - Design of customer networks including the support of High Level and Low Level designs. Providing technical support, Change management, for hard (physical) and soft (remote) changes. Customer inventory management, Hardware software, EOL. You will act as a key point of contact on our helpdesk for comms-related queries, resolving issues efficiently, escalating where appropriate, and ensuring outstanding service delivery for both our internal teams and partner environments. Key Responsibilities: Incident Management: Act as the first point of contact for telecoms-related incidents, logging, categorising, and prioritising faults in line with ITIL best practice. Service Level Management: Manage and resolve tickets within agreed SLAs, ensuring timely response, accurate updates, and clear documentation throughout the incident lifecycle. Ownership & Escalation Control: Take full ownership of incidents, aiming for First Contact Resolution (FCR), and escalate to Comms Specialists or third-party carriers with clear diagnostics where required. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues across VoIP systems, SIP trunks, handsets, routers, broadband circuits (FTTC/FTTP/SoGEA), and internal network connectivity. Supplier & Carrier Coordination: Liaise with external providers (e.g. broadband carriers, hosted voice platforms) to progress faults, raise tickets, and drive timely resolution. Event & Service Monitoring: Identify and respond to service outages, call quality issues, latency, and connectivity performance concerns, minimising impact to customers. Knowledge & Continual Improvement: Document known issues, workarounds, and fixes within the Knowledge Base to support faster resolution and continual service improvement (CSI). Service Communication: Provide clear, confident updates to customers and stakeholders, managing expectations during incidents and ensuring a positive service experience. Operational Tooling: Use ticketing systems, VoIP management portals, and monitoring tools to manage workload efficiently and maintain accurate service records. Out-of-Hours & On-Call Support: Support telecoms services during scheduled weekend or out-of-hours cover, following escalation paths for major incidents. Customer Experience Excellence: Deliver a reliable, professional support service, focused on minimising disruption and maintaining high customer satisfaction (CSAT/NPS). What we're looking for: Experience in Teams voice Experience in VoIP or communications support roles (1-2 years ideal). Good understanding of SIP, RTP, NAT, and VoIP fundamentals.
