DevOps Senior Operations Engineer Our Client is looking to recruit a Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 5 to 7 years expertise. They are a young talented team building the next generation video advertising platform. The key purpose of this role is focused on development in the capacity of improvements to the systems and operational environment by scripting, automation or building of tools. There are several key areas that require constant development: • Automation – Enhancements to the automation build process. Enhancements are continuously added to the base repository as well as additions of new technologies. • Scripting and Tools – There are many processes, tasks that can be made easier using scripts or custom designed tools in a managed services environment. We are looking for someone with knowledge of networking and storage, virtualization and operating systems, as well as good knowledge of the Architecture side of the role. Ideal skills and experience - what are you bringing to the party? • Experience working in operations - making sure the wheels are greased and the ship is humming along • Automation, Packaging, Deployments (Custom Hypervisor, Puppet, Git, scripting, CI services) • Source Code version control systems: Git & SVN • Monitoring: NewRelic, PagerDuty, etc • Programming Languages: Bash, PHP, GoLang • Virtualisation: We have a custom hypervisor (ZPF) but things like VMWare ESXi/KVM/oVirt/RHEV • Classics: Apache, MySQL, Redis, Varnish • Logstash & Elasticsearch • Networking (switching, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, load balancing, DNS, Cisco, F5, Akamai) • Multi cloud setup - AWS, Digital Ocean, Rackspace, Linode etc • DNS, NTP, SMTP, Jenkins • A solid background in Linux System Administration Functions and responsibilities This is a dynamic and varied role, which includes things like: • Build, deployment and maintenance of new and existing environments • Designing and maintaining highly available architectures • Security (patch management, vulnerability scanning & monitoring) • Uptime – design and maintain the systems and networking for uptime, resilience, architecting for failure. • Evaluation of new, cutting-edge technologies to help improve business processes and streamline • Develop highly-available, scalable, robust systems and take ownership of problems as they occur • Undertake ad-hoc out of business hours work for occasional technical support The salary for this role will be in the range £60K - £80K. DevSecOps Engineer Must have an Active DV Clearance DevSecOps Engineer Responsibilities Develop and document reusable automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code artefacts using Ansible and Terraform. Configure, build and support CI/CD pipelines to facilitate secure build and test automation. Lead technical implementation and design activities, assessing options and making technical design decisions. Advise senior customers and engineering teams on DevSecOps technologies, tooling, automation and secure engineering practices. Work with the DevSecOps Tech Lead, Product Owners and Scrum Master to prioritise work and manage risks and dependencies. Ensure the DevSecOps implementation meets requirements and aligns with business outcomes and security needs. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical implementation decisions. Contribute to team planning and report progress to the Solution Owner. Define the support approach in collaboration with Service and Support teams. Engage with other technical teams to drive tooling adoption and manage dependencies. DevSecOps Engineer Skills and Experience Strong DevSecOps engineering and automation experience. Hands-on Build Automation experience using Ansible. Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform. Experience configuring and building CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of DevOps tooling, automation technologies and secure engineering processes. Experience developing reusable automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code artefacts. Experience leading technical implementation and design activities. Experience working across both Windows and Linux operating systems. Agile and sprint-based delivery experience would be advantageous. Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance. Pour cela, l'APS (Application Production Support) travaille avec des entités dédiées et transverses. Le management de projet infrastructure assure la mission de management de projet technique en relation directe avec les chefs de projets Métier. Il contribue aux projets Métier en mettant en place les solutions d'architecture technique hébergeant les applications métier, et en préparant le passage en production des applications. Il coordonne l'action des entités techniques et assure la relation client face au Métier et son IT. Le contexte international fort du métier CBS nécessite un travail dans un environnement anglophone, afin de permettre l'échange et l'animation des réunions aussi bien avec des interlocuteurs techniques que fonctionnels. Contribution au déploiement dans les équipes métier et de production des nouveaux outils et méthodes de travail tels que le DevOps, Agilité, Move2Cloud. Qualification & Experience Required Industry standard Security qualifications (SANS GCIH, CISSP, Azure, Splunk, etc) or equivalent. Strong experience with SIEM technologies within a SOC (Splunk experience highly desirable). MS Sentinel is also now being introduced. Hands-on experience creating security use cases, analytics, and playbooks. Experience conducting security event triage and rapid incident response. Log analysis experience (Wireshark, NPCap, etc.). Experience with (ITSM) Service Management Systems (Remedy, Service Now). Strong understanding of information security principles, threat detection, and remediation processes. Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux technologies, networking, anti-virus, vulnerability management, and encryption. Familiarity with GDPR, Data Protection legislation, and security governance frameworks. Ability to think critically under pressure and respond effectively to fast-moving security incidents. Scripting or query experience is highly desirable (SPL, KQL, etc.). Good communication skills from previous roles. 🎯 MISSIONS : Intégré(e) aux équipes d'un de nos clients grand compte, vos missions seront les suivantes : - Assurer le maintien en conditions opérationnelles (MCO) des applications en production. - Superviser les applications et les traitements batch, analyser les alertes et résoudre les incidents. - Gérer les mises en production et coordonner les déploiements avec les équipes de développement. - Participer à l'automatisation des tâches d'exploitation et à l'amélioration des processus. - Garantir le respect des engagements de service (SLA). - Réaliser les analyses de causes racines (RCA) et mettre en œuvre les actions correctives. - Rédiger et maintenir la documentation d'exploitation et les procédures. - Participer aux astreintes et aux interventions hors horaires ouvrés si nécessaire. - Contribuer aux projets d'évolution de la plateforme et aux initiatives d'amélioration continue. Environnement techniques : - Maîtrise des outils DevOps (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker) appréciée. - Bonne compréhension des architectures applicatives, des API et des services web. - Bonne connaissance des environnements Linux/Unix. - Maîtrise des scripts Shell et/ou Python. - Connaissance des ordonnanceurs (Control-M, Autosys, Dollar Universe ou équivalent). - Expérience des outils de supervision (Centreon, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk…). - Connaissances des bases de données Oracle, PostgreSQL ou SQL Server.
