Solutions Architect Designer Our Client a Telecoms company is looking to recruit a seasoned professional who has at least 5 to 10 years experience as a Solutions Architect Designer. You will be involved in developing and implementing systems architecture designs that will meet business needs. The Solution Designer's responsibilities include designing innovative solutions based on business requirements, creating functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams. Participating and leading on projects where analysis of systems or data requires an in-depth evaluation of complex business process, system process, and industry standards. Designing technology solutions by modelling requirements and applying standard application methodology best practices. Resolving technical problems as they arise. Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed. Maintain & update Enterprise Architecture documentation. Building and integrating information systems to meet the company's needs. Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with the Enterprise Architect to recommend solutions to improve it. Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented. Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have. Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes. Manage Stakeholder expectations regarding appropriate milestones and deadlines. Providing supervision and guidance to development teams. Ensuring IT Security standards are incorporated by design, ensuring compliance to the required standards (ISO27001) and supporting improvement initiatives and protecting the business from risks arising from data loss. To support and contribute actively to health and safety, environmental, business continuity and information security arrangements that meets our obligations to our customers Proven experience in engineering and software solution design. In-depth understanding of integration techniques & modern coding languages Telco Site Management software design/development Integration knowledge(SOAP, Rest API's). Middleware Biztalk Data Warehouse design & optimization. ITIL/Remedy experience Experience of using Enterprise Architecture tools. Hons Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Engineering. Togaf certification. Knowledge of Cloud architectures. The Client is located close to Reading – so ideally you will be living within 60 minutes commuting distance. You will be working from home remotely for 2 to 3 days a week – and/or working from the office 2 days a week. The salary for this role will be in the range £75K - £90K plus benefits. L'équipe et le management Vous rejoindrez une équipe de 20 consultants expérimentés (ancienneté moyenne : 6 ans), intervenant sur des projets pour des clients entre Bordeaux et Toulouse. Chaque consultant est accompagné par un responsable opération senior, présent sur le terrain pour un management concret et adapté. Vos missions Vous participerez à la transformation digitale et à la maîtrise des systèmes informatisés de nos clients : Piloter les projets en lien avec la maîtrise d'ouvrage, Définir les besoins utilisateurs et réglementaires Suivre le système qualité pour les SI, Mettre en place la stratégie de conformité des SI, dérouler les validations selon les réglementations, Rédiger la documentation qualité, Proposer des améliorations méthodologiques et techniques de projet, Maintenir les solutions validées en état opérationnel. Contexte Au sein de la DSI, Domaine Métier — Pôle Interventions et Applications Mobiles, le Business Applications Manager (Responsable d'Applications Métier — RAM) accompagne les métiers dans la gestion et l'évolution de leurs applications (dont certaines mobiles) et de leurs matériels embarqués pour les Services aux Collectivités. Il est le point de contact privilégié entre les équipes métiers, la DSI, et les prestataires externes afin d'assurer la cohérence, la performance et la continuité des applications de son périmètre. Objectifs • 1er projet : plateforme de déclassement avec l'intégration de SAP + intégration IA (mis en prod au 23/06) => quelques difficultés avec le métier (consensus pour arrondir les angles). Aucun problème, projet délivré dans les temps. (Avec le métier, le vrai sujet au final est d'être bien carré sur le planning, les métriques, la communication et les responsabilités. Cela ne laisse plus de place au subjectif. => c'est la différence qu'il y a eu entre la V1 pour laquelle je n'étais pas assez dispo (2025) et la V2 (2026)) • 2ème projet : étude Kizéo (2 scénarios envisagés) : Le travail à venir sera de piloter l'optimisation faite de Kizéo ou son remplacement par une nouvelle appli. • Conserver l'outil existant => on vérifie des éléments pour sécuriser l'idée de changer d'outil. • Etudier une solution du marché => La décision du 08/06 est d'avancer dans ce sens. Contribution attendue • Pilotage applicatif & matériel embarqué o Prendre en charge un portefeuille d'applications métier et des équipements embarqués (qualité, délais, coûts). o Garantir la cohérence fonctionnelle et technique avec les processus de l'entreprise. • AMOA & relation métier o Animer le réseau métier et recueillir les besoins utilisateurs. o Prioriser les demandes et piloter le backlog d'évolutions et d'incidents. o Participer aux ateliers fonctionnels, rédiger la documentation (cadrage, spécifications, cahier de tests). o Réaliser les tests fonctionnels et valider les développements. o Impliquer et responsabiliser le métier. (RACI de début de projet, validation de besoin, de spec et PV de recette) • Gestion opérationnelle & support o Suivre les incidents et assister les utilisateurs sur son périmètre applicatif. o Organiser et dispenser les formations utilisateurs / référents métiers. o Documenter l'ensemble du cycle de vie des applications (de l'expression de besoin au suivi du run). • Relation prestataires & partenaires o Coordonner les fournisseurs (applications & matériels embarqués). o Suivre les contrats, livrables, SLA, conformité RGPD / cybersécurité. o Challenger la TMA et pousser le niveau de qualité attendu.
