Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day technical support for ICT and functional test stations. Troubleshoot test equipment, fixtures, probes, cables and measurement issues. Support the operation and maintenance of Keysight i3070 test systems. Carry out fault finding and basic repairs on test equipment and associated hardware. Diagnose false failures, intermittent faults and fixture/contact problems. Perform preventative maintenance to maximise test equipment availability and minimise production downtime. Investigate production test failures and recurring technical issues. Support engineering changes affecting test systems and fixtures. Assist with test station improvements, upgrades and duplication. Work alongside senior Test Engineers on more complex technical problems. Maintain accurate records of faults, repairs and recurring issues. Work closely with Engineering and Operations to support production requirements. Escalate complex issues with clear technical evidence and structured fault analysis. Skills & ExperienceWe are looking for someone with around 3+ years' experience within electronics production, manufacturing test or a similar environment. Ideally, you will have experience with: Electronics, electrical or test engineering. Production testing of electronic or electromechanical products. In-Circuit Test (ICT) systems. Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and/or functional test systems. PCB/PCBA testing and fault finding. Test fixtures, probes and interface hardware. Diagnosing intermittent failures and false test results. Reading electronic schematics and basic PCB layouts. Structured technical fault finding and problem solving. Previous exposure to Keysight i3070 would be highly beneficial, although you do not need to be an i3070 expert. An HNC, HND or degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Test Engineering or a related discipline would be beneficial, although relevant practical industry experience will also be considered. The following are list of skills required for the position: · Microsoft Windows (all versions) experience to a high level (troubleshoot and effectively resolve issues by research/using knowledge bases in a confident way). · Active Directory to a high level - security groups, administration/deployment, LDAP, ADSI. · Citrix XenApps – Administration, Maintenance and Support of existing Citrix XenApps server farm · Windows Server Environment 2012/2016 - design, deployment, maintenance and support. · VM-Ware virtualisation environments. · Backups (various and ability to use different applications). · Networking - design/troubleshoot/installation (VLAN, routing, switching, TCP/IP and OSI) · Router maintenance - wireless configuration, installation and setups. · PowerShell to a competent level (backup/azure/EMC). · VPN Administration and Deployment. · DNS – administration of DNS internal and external. Experience of supporting Market Data and Bloomberg would be a great plus. The salary for this position with be circa £40K - £50K. This is a hybrid position and you will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week. The position will be a 12 month full time contract – FTC initially.
