Essential Skills & Experience * Candidates should have strong commercial experience across the following: * Java - strong hands-on development experience. * Apache Kafka - experience developing or supporting Kafka-based messaging, streaming or event-driven solutions. * Kubernetes - experience deploying, managing or supporting containerised applications. * Python - experience developing scripts, applications, APIs or data-processing solutions. * Strong understanding of software and data engineering principles. * Experience working with distributed systems and data integration. * Experience developing reliable, scalable production solutions. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Experience working within Agile or collaborative engineering environments. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They are looking to recruit an expert candidate for the Head of Digital position – which is an exciting new position. You will have proven track of working within the banking World and delivering digital capabilities for the bank. You must have at least 5 to 10 years expertise in the digital space within the banking World. This is a senior position and will report to the Board at the bank. The Digital & Data Lead role is responsible for overseeing the strategy and development of the Bank's digital products and processes and design and implementation of Bank wide data governance framework.
