Liaise with remote technical teams and escalate issues where appropriate. Proactive Maintenance & Testing Perform daily and weekly proactive checks to ensure all AV systems are operational. Test and document performance of AV equipment and room systems. Carry out firmware updates, cable checks, and equipment cleaning as part of preventative maintenance routines. Meeting Support & Live Operation Set up and support key daily and high-profile meetings, ensuring all equipment, displays, and conferencing systems function seamlessly. Provide in-room and remote support for Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams meetings, ensuring a smooth hybrid meeting experience for all participants. Operate as a live sound engineer in the main boardroom, managing audio balance, levels, and clarity so every participant can be heard clearly. Manage microphones, sound uplift systems, DSPs, and conferencing hardware during live sessions. Proactively monitor audio and video quality during meetings, making real-time adjustments as required. Liaise with meeting organisers and presenters to ensure all AV requirements are prepared and tested in advance. Support and monitor IPTV and triple play systems, ensuring live, streamed, and broadcast content functions correctly across all displays and distribution networks. Customer Experience Maintain a professional, approachable, and customer-first attitude at all times. Communicate effectively with end-users, stakeholders, and management. Ensure meeting spaces are always presented to a high standard. Skills & Experience Required Essential Proven experience supporting corporate AV environments in a customer-facing capacity. Excellent knowledge of Cisco meeting room systems (Webex and RoomOS). Strong understanding of audio fundamentals, including microphones, DSPs, and sound reinforcement. Confidence in operating live sound in large meeting or boardroom environments. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly under pressure.
