Senior Software Developers/Engineers with Python, Terraform and Go Our Client is looking to recruit brilliant Software Developers/Engineers with upwards of 7 to 10 years solid proven track record of developing complex applications with Python coupled with Machine Learning and ideally Go. We’re looking to recruit initially 2 excellent Software Engineers to work with an existing team of 4 software developers on a very large strategic consulting engagement. Must be 100% trustworthy with real integrity – this is a highly sensitive project. Key skills Python Machine Learning ideally Terraform Go programming language If you are excellent with developing software with C++ and/or C# etc… then you can easily learn Go. Excellence is vital. Ideally have security clearance. Duration for this assignment will be 3 to 6 months initially with possibility of the role becoming permanent at some point in the future. The Client has offices in Central London and the project is based in Oxford - and are happy with remote working for the foreseeable future. Daily rate for this assignment will be dependent on your expertise – but will be in the range £500 to £2000 per day. Job Context: We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer to join our client in Luxembourg on a full-time permanent contract . In this role, you will contributing to the development, optimization, and security of their infrastructure and cloud environments. Your main responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure & Governance Contribute to the definition and implementation of the client’s cloud and infrastructure roadmap. Ensure compliance with recognized standards (ISO 27001, CIS) while supporting scalability and reliability. Design and maintain hybrid environments across Azure, AWS, or similar cloud platforms. Participate in cloud migration programs and introduce automation tools to streamline operations. Security, Networking & Compliance Act as Level 2/3 escalation point for infrastructure security, networks, servers, and endpoints. Support risk assessments, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity processes. Maintain alignment with regulatory requirements and internal audit controls. Configure and administer firewall technologies (e.g., Sophos) and core network services (TCP/IP, DNS, routing). Use automation and scripting (PowerShell) to improve processes and maintain documentation. Microsoft 365 & Modern Workplace Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365 solutions (Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, Intune, etc.). Support migrations from traditional on-premises systems to cloud-based services. Manage identity, access, security, and compliance configurations across hybrid environments. Provide advanced troubleshooting, performance optimization, and operational support. Document solutions, deliver user/IT training, and ensure long-term adoption. Manage M365 backup solutions Project Participation Lead or contribute to infrastructure and cloud projects from initial design to final delivery. Collaborate with internal teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational needs. Required Skills: At least 5 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and security. Solid expertise in Azure services and Microsoft 365. Strong foundation in Windows Server, networking concepts (Cisco, TCP/IP), virtualization, and cloud environments. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or proficiency in scripting (Shell/Bash) is highly desirable Fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
