You and your role We're looking for skilled architects who are confident working on products & services in a complex digital environment. These are roles where you need to be a skilled technical expert, as well as a good communicator and leader. As a Senior Technical Architect, you will design, implement and oversee the architecture of IT solutions that improve services for millions of DWP users. You'll work the design, oversight and architecture governance of IT solutions that support DWP customers and help our colleagues be at the most effective. You will will work collaboratively with engineers and other experts in multi-disciplinary teams, to create efficient solution designs that meet user needs. We’re seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with proven experience in cloud and enterprise technologies, who is adaptable, eager to learn, and keen to grow with the organisation. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions (on-prem and Azure cloud). Lead infrastructure upgrades and migration projects. Provide 3rd line support and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues. Ensure system security, compliance, and performance across all platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable IT services. Document processes, configurations, and procedures. Essential Skills & Experience: 5+ years’ experience in a senior infrastructure role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Exchange, Active Directory, Windows Server).
