You are the guardian of the end-to-end coherence of the Dynamics 365 solution, from pre-sales to go-live. You define the target architecture, arbitrate between standard, extension and custom development, and secure the technical and functional trajectory of projects.
The role is responsible for the following:
Design the target architecture (applications, integrations, data, security, environments)
Scope requirements with the client's business and IT leadership, and validate the scope
Arbitrate design choices (fit-gap, standard vs extension, Power Platform vs development)
Lead the design of integrations (Azure, Dataverse, API, middleware) and the data migration strategy
Oversee the quality of deliverables from functional consultants and developers
Define technical governance (ALM, DevOps, testing strategy, performance, licensing)
Contribute to pre-sales: solutioning, estimation, orals, tender responses
Secure key milestones (design review, go-live readiness) and manage project risks
Coach and upskill teams, contribute to the Dynamics practice
Compensation (Belgian market assumptions, to be calibrated):
Experienced architect (8 to 12 years): Permanent €85k to €105k gross/year; Freelance €750 to €900 daily rate
Principal architect (12+ years): Permanent €105k to €130k gross/year; Freelance €900 to €1,100 daily rate

Candidate profile
Must-have:
8+ years of ERP/CRM experience, including 4 years on Dynamics 365 (F&O or CE)
At least 3 large-scale projects as architect, functional lead or technical lead
Cross-functional vision: functional, technical, integration, data, security
Ability to convince C-level stakeholders and defend an estimate
Command of project methodologies (Agile, Sure Step, Success by Design)
Nice-to-have:
Certifications: MB-700 (Solution Architect Expert), PL-600, AZ-305
Multi-country, multi-entity experience and AX / NAV to D365 migrations
Knowledge of Belgian localization (Peppol, VAT, CODA)
Experience contributing to commercial offers or building a practice
Languages: Fluent French and English, Dutch is a plus
