Job title: Cyber Security Analyst Location: Preston or Frimley. Salary: Circa 44k dependant on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Acting as an Analyst for supporting Firewall, DLP and Atlassian Technologies Working as part of a team safeguarding BAE Systems UK enterprise IT infrastructure against Cyber threats through the configuration, installation and maintenance of Cyber Security Technical Control Software solutions and compensating controls Continuously work towards organisational, departmental and individual objectives and uphold security standards and principles Installation & support of security toolset hardware. Knowledge of networking for troubleshooting required. As a Lead Cyber Security Operations Analyst , you'll join the Security Operations Centre and play a critical role in leading security investigations, developing detection content, and advancing operational security capabilities across the business. Key Responsibilities Act as the technical escalation point for the SOC, leading security incidents and advising on containment, mitigation, and system hardening.
