While there is some flexibility for remote or hybrid work, onsite attendance at the specified location(s) will be required for secure system access Your future duties and responsibilities We work alongside MOD Product Owners and operational users using Agile principles, with a diverse skilled team, delivering the management, development, CI/CD evolvement and support required. Our work to date has refactored, refined the application, from a concept demonstrator to a mature, containerised, IRM and CM solution. Required qualifications to be successful in this role Development uses cloud native applications enabling use of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling. The application uses Angular and Material Design. The primary deliverable of this role is to understand, support and enable the continued development and deployment process, through the employment of Agile release best practice, working alongside the Senior DevOps Engineer and wider software development team. You must have experience with Linux/Bash, containerisation and Kubernetes. Must have previous experience in an Agile environment, be proactive, collaborative and flexible in your approach. Other knowledge of .NET Core 6, Docker, PSQL, Kafka, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RHEL hosting (RedHat Enterprise Linux), Certificate and LDAP Authentication and Scripting ability Bash/Python/Powershell would be highly desired. Your Mission: • Lead agile delivery teams to support critical, live applications for the MOD. • Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring top-notch quality and timely execution. • Manage secure development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of software products. • Design and operate automated CI/CD pipelines and shared platform services using Kubernetes. • Write and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and operate products in both public and private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, On-Prem). ???? Key Responsibilities: • Support and advise teams on technology choices and solutions to complex problems. • Ensure best practices in Agile methodologies (SCRUM & Kanban) are implemented and followed. • Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to your team members. ???? What We're Looking For: • Expertise in deploying and managing secure products using cloud technologies (AWS, Azure). • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, and other DevOps tools. • Experience with Agile methodologies and leading development teams. • Strong understanding of security principles and public key infrastructure (PKI). • Ability to mentor junior team members and lead project deliverables. ????
