Senior Software Engineer Remote - 2 days a month in Birmingham £65,000 to £80,000 depending on experience Excellent opportunity for a front end software engineer with strong JS framework skills (React or Vue) to join a fast-growing, tech focused start-up company, that have just gone through another round of funding and offer a unique autonomous remote role to help shape the company's growth. The ideal candidate will be a Senior Software Engineer with strong front-end skills. Experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue is key. Backend skills, experience with Python and experience leading small teams is beneficial. In this role you will oversee day-to-day IT operations, support users across all departments and drive improvements to systems, processes and security. You'll work across hardware, software, networks, Microsoft 365/SharePoint, ERP and other business-critical applications, as well as supporting ongoing Cyber Essentials Plus accreditations and cyber awareness. The ideal candidate will have several years' experience in IT Support, with strong knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, networking fundamentals and cyber security best practice. You'll be comfortable working autonomously, liaising with third parties and supporting a mix of office and shopfloor users in a manufacturing or secure environment. The ability to obtain BPSS and SC clearance is essential.
