Our client is looking for a VMware Engineer to join their team on a six month initial contract, working hybrid out of their site in London. This role requires a candidate with an active DV clearance and has the opportunity to go through a NPPV3 clearance. This role is working via Umbrella. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMware Engineer to design, deploy, a new ESX Virtualised Platform including management tooling, manage multiple virtual machines (VMs) in a dynamic secure environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in VMware technologies and a strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and storage integration. Design and implement VMware-based infrastructure to support the business requirement including multiple VMs across various environments. Build, configure, and maintain virtual machines using vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. Ensure high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery capabilities. Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to virtualization. Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams to ensure seamless integration.
