Hands-on Build Automation experience using Ansible. Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform. Experience configuring and building CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of DevOps tooling, automation technologies and secure engineering processes. Experience developing reusable automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code artefacts. Experience leading technical implementation and design activities. Experience working across both Windows and Linux operating systems. Agile and sprint-based delivery experience would be advantageous. Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance. Key Responsibilities Drive software safety activities throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct hazard analysis, risk assessments, and safety documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Software, Quality, Regulatory, and Product Development. Ensure compliance with relevant medical device standards and regulatory requirements. Support verification, validation, and software risk management activities. Requirements Around 4 years of experience within the medical device and/or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) sector. Strong understanding of software risk management and functional safety principles. Knowledge of standards such as ISO 14971, IEC 62304, and related medical device regulations. Our public sector client is looking for QAT Engineers to join their team. We are looking for 8 Engineers that are able to work on a hybrid basis and work in one of the following locations: Manchester, Blackpool, Leeds, Newcastle. The role is inside IR35. Please note that due to the nature of the role SC clearance is required. * Strong HTML, CSS, JS Node experience. * Champion QAT across several teams, providing technical leadership and guidance. * Drive collaboration across engineers of different roles both within your team and the wider teams to solve problems and enable consistent solutions and strategies. * Build automation test solutions that help to assure the quality of our products, contribute towards their design, and look for way to improve the value automation adds. * Ensure that usability, accessibility, security, stability, and capacity are embedded in the development of services. * Drive teams to take a risk based, context driven approach to agile testing assessing and understanding the risks to drive decisions. * Lead the adoptions of Continuous Integration/Delivery pipelines to run a full range of tests against our products and assure our builds. * Lead the traceability of testing, risks, defects, and report progress to appropriate stakeholders across several teams. * Be willing to challenge assumptions and current processes to help us improve. Reusing and evolving our strategies and tooling. * Drive the identification of tooling and solutions to aid constant improvements, ensuring we build the right product in the right way. * Proactively share knowledge, solutions and support our internal communities along with mentoring, coaching, and supporting your peers.
