Key Responsibilities; Enterprise Architecture & Strategy * Define and own enterprise cloud architecture strategy aligned with business and IT roadmaps * Establish cloud reference architectures, standards, and design patterns * Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and organisational standards AWS Cloud Architecture * Architect highly available, resilient, and secure AWS platforms at enterprise scale * Design multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and Control Tower * Lead architecture for hybrid and enterprise integration scenarios * Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework across all solutions Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) * Define enterprise-wide IaC standards, module frameworks, and lifecycle management * Create solutions for automated provisioning for multi-environment and multi-account deployments * Ensure Terraform governance, security, and compliance controls CI/CD & DevSecOps Enablement * Design and govern enterprise CI/CD frameworks and reusable pipeline templates * Create solutions for Integration of CI/CD with Terraform, AWS services, and security tooling * Enable DevSecOps practices including automated testing, scanning, and approvals * Support advanced deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling deployments) Python Automation & Cloud Engineering * Lead Python-based automation initiatives for cloud operations and platform engineering * Create solutions for automation for provisioning, compliance, monitoring, and remediation * Design serverless automation using AWS Lambda and event-driven architectures * Promote automation-first and self-service cloud platforms Security, Governance & Compliance * Embed security-by-design and zero-trust principles * Define IAM, network security, and data protection standards * Ensure compliance with enterprise, regulatory, and audit requirements * Implement logging, monitoring, and auditability across platforms Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement * Act as enterprise-level technical authority and design approver * Partner with senior stakeholders, product owners, and delivery leads * Mentor architects and senior engineers across teams * Drive architectural reviews, documentation, and decision forums Key Skills & experience: Core Technical Skills * Expert AWS architecture experience (VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Route 53, CloudFront) * Terraform (expert level) - enterprise modules, remote state, policy-as-code * CI/CD platforms (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) * Strong Python automation skills (boto3, APIs, scripting, Lambda) * Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity * Experience with container platforms (Docker, ECS, EKS) Experience * 13+ years in IT with 5-7+ years in cloud / solution / enterprise architecture roles * Proven experience designing enterprise-scale AWS platforms * Experience governing architecture across multiple teams and programmes * Strong background in DevOps and platform engineering ________________________________________ Desirable / Nice to Have * AWS Solutions Architect - Professional certification * TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification * Kubernetes (EKS) advanced experience * Experience with FinOps and cost governance * Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures ________________________________________ This is an excellent opportunity on a great project of work, If you are looking for your next exciting opportunity, apply now for your CV to reach me directly, we will respond as soon as possible. Your responsibilities System Architecture You will collaborate with product management and key stakeholders to understand and shape the business vision and its impact on architectural blueprints/runways.
