Your ImpactExamine and evaluate current POS acceptance systems to define the technical requirements for EPI's next-generation retail payment solutions Translate business requirements into technical specifications (and vice versa), bridging the gap between stakeholders and engineering teams Produce high-quality technical deliverables — protocols, implementation guides, data mappings, system diagrams, and flow charts Collaborate with external acceptance ecosystem parties (terminal vendors, acquirers) to implement contactless payment specifications Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Testing teams throughout the POS acceptance development lifecycle Define testing procedures and develop test cases to ensure quality across integrations Technology StackPOS Terminals and their environments POS payment applications POS-Host interfaces and protocols EMV payment technology (NFC, contactless) Web technologies To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirementsMandatory company must-haves +10 years of professional experience in the payment and banking sector, including at least 5 years in the POS acceptance domain A degree in a related technical field is preferred Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German, Dutch, or other European languages are a plus Thrive in a remote-first, multicultural environment Job specific requirements Proven experience in technical systems analysis for POS Terminals or the wider acceptance domain Experience defining or implementing payment messaging protocols and standards Excellent analytical and technical writing skills for producing specifications of various nature Ability to take ownership and drive cross-functional consensus across internal and external stakeholders Previous close collaboration with engineering teams developing POS acceptance solutions is a plus
Seeking an individual with good previous development experience in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. Must have previous experience working with Life Insurance Policy Administration Systems (PAS). Required to write technical specifications from business or functional specifications. Must have experience Oracle developer suite of products (particularly forms and reports) to undertake projects and enhancements - Oracle SQLPLUS, PL/SQL, Unix scripting. The candidate will have overall responsibility for supporting critical processing. Strong communication skills - Excellent spoken and written English. Fluency and accuracy in both spoken and written English is important to ensure that the individual does not compromise our delivery process or confuse clients. This position is based in Stratford, E15. 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. 20 days paid holiday in the first year.
