QA Automation Architect – Maidenhead We require a seasoned QA professional with 5 to 10 years proven track record of software testing. A seasoned QA automation architect with experience in continuous delivery We are looking at 3 or more large-scale implementations of QAA/CD in large organization Ability to articulate a vision in automation and execute against it Comfortable communication at CxO level Has previously worked with nearshore teams Has clear and deep understanding of overall Software Development processes. Understands clearly where, when and how quality checks are required to be built in through the SDLC and has prior experience in building such quality practices. Is motivated to drive quality process improvements in a holistic manner. Has experience in structuring and recommending such improvements that include various segments of the organization that may or may not be under his direct influence. Experience in implementing quality process improvements by analyzing existing QA maturity models, measure the process and provide a solution/deployment approach based on the gaps. Solid experience in working on multi-tier architectures complex applications. Has extensive experience in working on automation tools e.g Selenium webdriver, Docker, Cucumber or related source tools. Hands-on experience in setting up an automation framework and continuous automation and regression testing process. Good experience in continuous delivery and integration process with tools like Jenkins, Maven. Good experience in working with distributed teams in Agile development methodologies. Should have experience with effective metrics collection, analysis and suggest corrective actions. This is a 6 month contract based in Maidenhead. Rate is negotiable. Senior System Analyst with QA Our Client is a global company based out of Trumbull CT USA. You must have at least 7 years expertise as a Senior Systems Analyst coupled with at least 5 years QA skills. The Sr. System Analyst / QA will be part of an Integration team that is accountable for technical deliveries of integration projects and system enhancements, and production support services. The candidate is expected to work closely with applications, analytics, infrastructure, security, compliance, PMO, QA, and system analysis teams. Must be a strong analytical problem solver and creative thinker with the ability to ask the right questions and develop a point of view that will influence technical decisions. Be a disciplined self-starter and will deliver quality solutions to our global business. Team-play and visibility through routine and precise reporting and following of methods and processes is a major aspect of the work and can be a major success factor. This is a senior role that requires analysing complex problems and translate business needs into technical understanding and vice-versa, understand technical details sufficiently to conduct white-box testing and to reverse engineer, and own the projects/tasks to ensure the quality of the delivery. The ability and willingness to thoroughly document all the aspects of the integration projects/tasks is a key requirement for this role. Light-duty hands-on programming is also expected. Technical skills: In-depth knowledge and thorough experience in understanding and testing a variety of integrations. Understanding and experience with defect tracking processes and tools. Thorough experience in understanding, analyzing, and white-box testing (end-to-end) of integrations built using/with Azure integration tools like Data factory, LogicApps, Functions, API Management, Data catalog, WebApps, Integration service environment, configuring monitoring & diagnostics, etc., and connectivity & security configurations. Experience in understanding, analyzing, and white-box testing Azure data storage (Data lake, Synapse, etc.) & access tools, APIs, cloud connectivity, and ETL solutions. In-depth understanding of and experience with SOAP, XML, REST, JSON, EDI, XSLT, Async/Sync, Request/Response, Service Bus, Publish/Subscribe, Batch/Real-time, Scheduling, Event triggers, etc. Strong command over data analysis tools (e.g. MS Excel) and Documentation tools (e.g. MS Word) Experience with analyzing and testing APIs using Postman, SOAPUI, or similar tools. Experience in automated testing using relevant QA tools or by building custom scripts. Understanding of and light-duty programming experience using MS SQL Server (SSIS, T-SQL, Stored procedures, Functions, Views, Queries, Datatype conversions, etc.). High-level knowledge of architecture of the cloud and on-prem MSFT Suite (e.g. Share point) and Integration platforms architecture (e.g. BizTalk, MuleSoft, or similar), etc. Some experience in understanding, analyzing, and white-box testing of MS Office/MS Office 365 suite, SharePoint Online, Power Apps/Power Automate, GitHub, MS Teams, etc. Solid fundamentals and thorough understanding of exception handling principles and production/operational support solutions (alerts, dashboards, runbooks, etc.) Thorough understanding and practice/experience of identifying and high-level investigating performance issues to pin-point problem areas Experience with MS D365, ServiceNow, Azure Analytics tools, Azure Data lake, Azure Synapse, Azure BYOD & Data verse, Azure DevOps, Informatica, BI tools, etc., is a big plus.
