Job Description About the Job Oracle Forms Software Systems Test Engineer - Harrogate Our Client is a financial institution developing software for the pensions insurance and wealth management investment banking world. They are a leading insurer and wealth management company in the UK. They are looking to recruit a Software Systems Tester with at least 2 years experience of testing robust software applications manually. You will be testing Oracle Forms software along with SQL Server. You must have a thorough knowledge of manual testing procedures and structured test methods and processes. Experience of producing automated regression, validation and performance test suites. Proven experience of testing complex user interfaces. Detailed knowledge of both manual and automated testing methods. Experience of testing database applications. Ability to build test rigs and effectively manage test data. ISEB Foundation Certificate or equivalent in Software Testing. Any existing knowledge of the Insurance (particularly Life & Pension) and/or wider financial services industry; business processes, distribution & company internal structures, products & remuneration would be very beneficial although not a must. Seeking an individual with the tester should have attained a level of experience equivalent to ISTQB Foundation and must have passed the ISTQB Foundation examination.
