Desktop Support Analyst – Bank – City London We are looking to recruit a Desktop Analyst with at least 5 years experience of working in Desktop Support from 1 to 3 level in a banking environment. You ideally have experience of working within a banking environment and understanding the banking arena. Responsible for the full range of user support, including desktop and peripheral hardware support, application support, network connectivity and remote connectivity. Remote and telephone support of mobile/European users will also be required. Work within the Service Desk team in supporting and delivering all aspect of services -1/2 line support (capable of root cause analysis) -Remote branch support using Remote Assistance -Active Directory user starter/leaver process -Customer facing, support of internal banking staff, VIPs -Maintenance and support of desktops, laptops, Blackberry's -SLA targets -Ad-hoc project involvement Main skills required are: -Experience supporting desktop platforms for banking environments -Experience in operational deployments. Desktop, operating system refresh cycle -Service Desk ticket software -Market data products -ITIL, Microsoft certifications advantageous -Maintains industry recognised skills through training or self-study methods Technical Skills -Supporting Microsoft operating systems, office suite -TCP/IP, basic networking skills -Root cause analysis and remediation Technologies -Windows 7 -Office 2013 -Xenapp published applications, support -Desktop hardware, laptops, Blackberry's deployments Salary for this role will be in the region £40K - £50K. Finance Change Business Manager A global role within Finance Change supporting Wealth and Personal Banking (WBP) reporting to the Head of Finance Change. This is a key function within the central Finance Change team and the job holder will be supporting all Finance Change including Global, Regional, Country and sub-business. Support will also be required key strategic and operational initiatives like Visualisation, Change Operating Model design and Data Quality Framework. We are looking for SC Cleared Engineers with DevOps and platform-engineering experience to support the development, operation and continual improvement an enterprise observability capability. Working within an established multidisciplinary engineering team, the engineers will implement and maintain infrastructure, configuration, automation and integration components supporting Dynatrace and associated services across AWS, Azure and Client environments. Experience Required: - Demonstrable experience of delivering DevOps, platform or infrastructure engineering changes using version controlled code, peer review and automated deployment pipelines. - Practical experience of infrastructure as code or configuration as code, using Terraform or a comparable declarative automation technology, including the safe management of environment-specific configuration. - Experience of implementing or supporting services in at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS or Azure, including identity, connectivity, security and operational considerations. - Experience of building, integrating or operating monitoring and observability capabilities, including practical use of metrics, logs, traces, events, dashboards and actionable alerting. - Experience of testing, releasing and supporting changes to live services, including functional and integration validation, deployment verification, incident investigation, documentation, rollback or roll-forward planning and production support. Candidates should be able to provide examples of: - Delivering a technical change through source control, review, testing and deployment. - Automating an infrastructure, platform or configuration activity - Diagnosing an operational or integration issue using technical evidence. - Applying security and least-privilege considerations to an engineering change. - Creating or maintaining documentation, runbooks or support information. - Working within established architecture and standards while escalating decisions outside their authority.
