Activités principales Gestion du Legacy, Reverse Engineering et Migration : • Prise en main de l'historique : S'approprie les développements existants basés sur SAP Hana on-premise (utilisé comme base relationnelle) et les rapports Power BI associés. • Reverse Engineering : En l'absence de documentation exhaustive sur l'existant, analyse de manière autonome les requêtes SQL et les modèles actuels pour en comprendre les règles de gestion sous-jacentes. • Stratégie de bascule : Arbitre et réalise la transition des rapports historiques vers la nouvelle stack cible : soit par un portage à l'identique (lift and shift), soit par une refonte complète et une optimisation au sein de GCP. Responsabilité de la restitution, du reporting et de l'architecture Power BI : • Modélisation décisionnelle : Définit et conçoit l'architecture des modèles de données (Datamarts dans la couche Gold) spécifiquement optimisés pour Power BI (modèles en étoile, gestion des dimensions et des faits). • Expertise DAX & Restitution : Rédige les mesures complexes en langage DAX et configure Power Query de manière optimale. Conçoit des tableaux de bord pertinents, fluides et ergonomiques (Data Visualization). • Garantie de performance End-to-End : Identifie et corrige les goulots d'étranglement de performance, depuis la requête de transformation dans le Data Warehouse (BigQuery) jusqu'au temps de rafraîchissement et d'affichage des rapports Power BI. • Rédige les dossiers de conception technique et les spécifications détaillées des solutions BI. • Définit les stratégies de tests de non-régression sur les données restituées et participe aux recettes applicatives.

Database Engineer with SQL and C# Our Client is a City based bank – looking to recruit a Database Engineer with at least 3 to 5 years expertise of developing and supporting SQL and C#. Software Development: Analysis of issues pertaining to problems or errors raised by in-house systems, i.e. CORE, SharePoint interface, Equation end of day cycle. Understanding business requirements in order to develop and deliver appropriate solutions based on system definition documents. Proficiency in advanced 4GL programming languages and able to apply to the fully development life-cycle. Database Support Supporting budgeting and financial planning processes for Finance department, including loading and refreshing of data based on requirements. Understand and conduct the front-end functionality to amend and change hierarchical structures within the environment. Debug and analyse errors and anomalies within Hyperion system as raised by Finance and to pinpoint areas of failure and correct any issues. Liaise with Finance on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of the Hyperion environment. Build data flows within the SQL environment in SSIS packages. Introduce new field and data types for new information to be collated in the CORE environment. To integrate with all the Bank's sub-systems using data abstraction and connectivity layers, i.e. ODBC, ADO.net. Build reports based on business requirements using Hyperion Interactive Reports. Ensure that the environment is running optimally and to utilise house-keeping procedures. Sharepoint Integration: Integrate the SharePoint environment and Forms with Equation system to introduce automation of processes thereby eliminating the need for duplicate entry. Utilise web services to integrate from cutting edge technology into legacy systems such as Equation. End of Day Cycle: Provide second and third level support for in-house programmes during the end of day cycle. Able to analyse and rectify any problems raised in an independent and team scenario. Take ownership of a problem and deliver a solution in a timely manner. Provide out of office hours support. Risk & Regulatory Duties Maintain knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements including the Bank's Risk and Compliance policies and procedures and adhere to these to avoid exposing the Bank to undue risk. Report policy/procedure breaches and areas of potential non-compliance and suspicions promptly upon identification in accordance with the Bank's Risk and Compliance policies. Accurately execute all controls within own area to minimise risk of policy, procedure, and/or regulatory breaches. Identify new risks/control gaps within own area and escalate accordingly to your Line Manager and/or Head of Department. Training & Competence Complete all annual mandatory regulatory refresher training as per the Bank's training plans and deadlines. Proactively seek to complete recommended technical and behavioural competencies training required for your role. Conduct Act in accordance with the FCA/PRA Code of Conduct.
