Role: AI Architect -- Agentic Systems Specialist Rate: Inside IR35 Location: 2 days a week onsite in Northampton Duration: 6 months initially Experience 12-15 years in AI/ML engineering, enterprise software, or cloud architecture. 1-2 years hands-on with LLMs and agentic systems (LangGraph, DSPy, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel). 3-5 years in AI/ML workflows (traditional ML, data engineering, orchestration). 5-7 years in cloud-native AI solutions (AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Vertex AI with Gemini, GCP Pub/Sub). Track record of designing enterprise-scale architectures with security, compliance, and observability. Core Technical Skills Agentic Systems: Design of A2A communication patterns, ANP (Agent Network Protocols), and MCP integration. LLMs: Prompt engineering, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation frameworks. Frameworks: LangGraph, DSPy (reasoning & orchestration), AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel. Cloud AI: AWS: Bedrock, SageMaker, Neptune, EventBridge. GCP: Vertex AI, Gemini family models, Pub/Sub, BigQuery. Architecture & Ops: Multi-agent planning, memory layers, orchestration pipelines, Kubernetes, observability. AI Safety & Governance: Guardrails, audit trails, compliance-grade monitoring. Soft Skills Communication & Presentation Clear, well-spoken communicator; can present to C-level executives, technical teams, and clients. Skilled at storytelling with architecture diagrams, simplifying A2A/ANP/MCP concepts. Engaging conference speaker, workshop leader, and trainer. Leadership Comfortable leading cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and product managers. Experienced in client consulting and stakeholder management. Acts as a mentor/coach for emerging AI engineers and architects. Strategic Consulting Translates agentic AI into business value propositions (digital twins, copilots, smart city orchestration, enterprise automation). Balances innovation with compliance, cost, and operational stability.
