Responsibilities ●Keep our suite of internal apps and services up and running or getting it back up and running quickly if a failure were to occur ●Be the technical point person of operational responsibility for two core platforms (one mobile and one web application) i.e. engaging as appropriate upon escalations from the IT support group whether it be problem solving, addressing production issues, enhancing features etc. - collaborating with engineers and others as needed ●Work closely with internal partners and teams as well as external vendors to ensure that we ship software that meets our code quality, security and performance requirements ●Write, update, and use our documentation, including runbooks and/or playbooks ●Help automate existing or build new internal workflows including ongoing infrastructure needs, testing, failover mitigations, and more ●Debug complex problems across our entire web and mobile application stack and advise key stakeholders on solutions, as well as implement said solutions if appropriate. ●Further our internal CI/CD processes to improve release cadence and developer experience ●Participate in the daily / weekly software development process (standups, sprint planning, retros, issue tracking, etc.) ●Actively lead any critical issue post-mortem processes, including coordination of any meetings and further steps to take Qualifications ●7+ years experience with software engineering, software development, and/or system operations ●Experience debugging complex problems and implementing timely cost-effective solutions ●Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems ●Deep knowledge of Python is preferred, though other languages like Java, Go, Rust, or similar will also be heavily considered ●Experience using source control (Git, GitHub) and feature branching strategies ●Experience with a variety of open-source databases (MySQL, Postgres, Redis, etc.) ●Experience with DevOps engineering and working with container orchestration, such as with Docker or Kubernetes ●Experience with log monitoring and observability via platforms like Sumologic or Cloudwatch ●Experience automating infrastructure, testing, and deployments using tools like CircleCI Configuration management tooling and infrastructure as code knowledge is preferred but not required ●Experience working with AWS services, with knowledge of Azure / Google ecosystems helpful but not required ●Strong familiarity with general modern web and mobile application development, including hands-on experience working with JavaScript (Typescript preferred) and Python stacks ●Cross functional team collaboration experience, especially working with engineers and user experience / product designers, as well as external stakeholders ●Strong skills for weighing and managing scope, risk, quality and timelines ●Strong focus on quality, security, performance, and end user experience This is an exciting position with an exciting organisation based in Central London and New York. L’intervention s’inscrit au sein d’un pôle Cloud & Infrastructures ayant pour objectif de proposer une expérience harmonisée autour du développement, du déploiement et de l’exploitation des applications, quel que soit l’environnement technologique sous-jacent. Ce pôle s’appuie notamment sur : un catalogue de plateformes couvrant la majorité des besoins applicatifs ; la capacité à adresser des cas spécifiques hors catalogue ; des produits et services transverses permettant d’assurer une responsabilité de bout en bout sur les environnements applicatifs. Dans ce contexte, le client déploie un programme majeur de build, d’adoption et de migration vers OpenShift / Kubernetes , visant à mettre à disposition des entités métier une infrastructure de conteneurisation unifiée, sécurisée et souveraine. Le périmètre couvre plusieurs domaines bancaires et financiers : Banque de détail ; Banque de financement et d’investissement ; Assurances ; Asset Management ; Fonctions IT et transverses associées. Face à la volumétrie des applications concernées, à la diversité des architectures existantes — on-premise, cloud hybride, environnements legacy — et à la criticité des systèmes à migrer, le client souhaite s’appuyer sur un profil expérimenté capable de piloter la trajectoire d’adoption et de migration de bout en bout. Rôle En tant que Directeur de Projet / Responsable Adoption & Migration , vous intervenez comme référent(e) de la trajectoire de migration applicative vers OpenShift. Votre rôle consiste à accompagner les entités internes dans leur adoption de la plateforme, à structurer la gouvernance du programme, à consolider les plans de migration, à anticiper le décommissionnement des infrastructures legacy et à sécuriser la conduite du changement auprès des équipes IT et métier. Vous pilotez l’ensemble du dispositif, depuis le cadrage initial jusqu’à la sortie progressive des environnements existants. Missions principales 1. Stratégie de cadrage et gouvernance Vous aurez pour responsabilités de : définir et formaliser la stratégie globale d’adoption OpenShift à l’échelle d’un grand environnement bancaire ; élaborer le référentiel de cadrage technique et organisationnel : standards, patterns, bonnes pratiques, règles d’éligibilité ; définir les critères de priorisation des applications à migrer ; mettre en place et animer la gouvernance du programme de migration ; piloter les comités de suivi, comités techniques, revues de portefeuille et instances de décision ; assurer un reporting clair et consolidé auprès des directions IT et instances exécutives ; identifier, suivre et piloter les risques liés à la migration ; définir les plans de mitigation associés ; coordonner les interdépendances avec les programmes connexes : Cloud, Sécurité, conformité réglementaire, DORA, NIS2. 2. Anticipation du décommissionnement legacy Vous contribuerez à structurer et piloter la sortie progressive des infrastructures historiques.
