Role Overview The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, reliable, and secure data pipelines and data platforms that power digital products, analytics use cases, reporting, and data-driven services. Acting as a key contributor within cross-functional delivery teams, the role collaborates closely with Product, Backend, Frontend, Architecture, Data Analytics, and platform teams to deliver trusted data assets across ingestion, transformation, storage, and access layers. At Supervising Associate level, the role leads complex data engineering delivery, sets technical direction and strengthens team capability across initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead technical delivery across complex data workstreams: Make design decisions and resolve cross-platform dependencies, governance risks, and escalations. Mentor engineers, enforce engineering and data standards, and drive improvements in architecture, quality, lineage, security, observability, cost, and technical debt management. Data Pipeline & Platform Delivery Design, implement, and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines using Python and modern data engineering frameworks. Build reliable ingestion and transformation processes from internal and external data sources, including APIs, databases, files, and events. Develop reusable data processing components and frameworks following software engineering best practices. Data Quality, Reliability & Observability Implement data validation, quality checks, and monitoring to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and trustworthiness of data. Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests for data pipelines and processing components. Instrument pipelines with logging, metrics, alerts, and operational monitoring. Performance, Scalability & Architecture Optimize data processing performance, storage layouts, query efficiency, and platform resource usage. Design pipelines for scalability and resilience using retries, idempotency, checkpointing, and backpressure patterns. Apply partitioning, caching, and parallelization strategies where appropriate. Security, Governance & Continuous Improvement Implement secure data handling practices, including access controls, encryption, secrets management, and compliant data processing. Ensure alignment with enterprise, regulatory, privacy, data classification, retention, and lineage requirements. Support audits and data governance processes where required. What success in this role will look like Demonstrates successful leadership of complex data delivery, stronger engineering capability and consistent adoption of platform, quality and governance standards. Reliable delivery and operation of scalable data pipelines and data platform components. Trusted data assets with strong accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and observability controls. Clean, testable, documented, and maintainable Python and SQL-based data engineering solutions. Effective support for incidents, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and durable remediation. Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional experience building data pipelines and data platforms using Python. Strong experience with SQL and data modeling concepts, including dimensional, normalized, analytical, or lakehouse patterns. Hands-on experience with relational and analytical data stores, such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, data warehouses, or data lakes. Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews for data workloads. Expertise on cloud platforms, with Azure/Fabric, and relevant data services. Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to collective success while remaining open to feedback and coaching from more experienced colleagues. Strong understanding of data security, access control, observability, and production support practices. 7+ Years of Experience are required.

Qualification & Experience Required Industry standard Security qualifications (SANS GCIH, CISSP, Azure, Splunk, etc) or equivalent. Strong experience with SIEM technologies within a SOC (Splunk experience highly desirable). MS Sentinel is also now being introduced. Hands-on experience creating security use cases, analytics, and playbooks. Experience conducting security event triage and rapid incident response. Log analysis experience (Wireshark, NPCap, etc.). Experience with (ITSM) Service Management Systems (Remedy, Service Now). Strong understanding of information security principles, threat detection, and remediation processes. Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux technologies, networking, anti-virus, vulnerability management, and encryption. Familiarity with GDPR, Data Protection legislation, and security governance frameworks. Ability to think critically under pressure and respond effectively to fast-moving security incidents. Scripting or query experience is highly desirable (SPL, KQL, etc.). Good communication skills from previous roles. Problem Manager - Remote - Outside IR35 Must have an active SC Clearance The role covers Problem Records, Known Errors, Workarounds, trend analysis, Post Incident Reviews and continual service improvement. This position is suited to an experienced Problem Manager with strong IT service management expertise who is comfortable working across technical teams, customers and senior service stakeholders. Problem Manager Responsibilities Own and manage the end-to-end Problem Management process and associated governance. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations into major, recurring and complex incidents. Coordinate technical and service teams to identify underlying causes of service issues. Create, maintain and manage Problem Records throughout their lifecycle. Identify and document Known Errors and appropriate Workarounds. Develop and track corrective and preventative actions through to completion. Analyse incident trends and recurring service issues to identify potential problems before further disruption occurs. Lead Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) and ensure agreed actions are documented and completed. Drive continual service improvement initiatives based on problem trends, RCA findings and lessons learned. Ensure lessons learned are captured, communicated and embedded across relevant service teams. Produce clear Root Cause Analysis reports for customers, leadership and service teams. Work closely with Incident Management, Change Management, technical resolver groups and service stakeholders to improve service stability. Problem Manager Skills and Experience Strong experience working within Problem Management in complex IT service environments. Proven experience owning and governing the Problem Management lifecycle. Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience. Experience leading Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) following major or recurring incidents. Experience creating and managing Problem Records and Known Error Records. Strong understanding of Known Error Management and the development of operational Workarounds. Experience producing and managing Corrective Action Plans and Preventative Improvement Plans. Strong incident trend analysis and recurring problem identification experience. Experience driving continual service improvement and preventative action initiatives. Strong understanding of IT service management processes and the relationship between Problem, Incident and Change Management. Experience producing RCA reports, service improvement documentation and lessons learned. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical teams, customers and senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate multiple technical teams through complex investigations. Summary: This role is focused on leading Digital initiatives and Integration projects as a Technical Project Manager, acting as the vital connection among various teams such as country business, IT stakeholders, architecture, and external partners. The objective is to manage projects from inception to delivery while aligning with the organization's API strategy and business objectives. Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end API Management projects across multiple countries and business areas. Gather, analyze, and document country-specific business requirements, processes, and priorities. Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, project plans, and delivery milestones. Coordinate with country business teams to understand local regulations, operational requirements, customer needs, and integration priorities. Manage the design, development, implementation, and lifecycle of APIs and API products. Ensure APIs comply with enterprise architecture, security, data protection, integration, and governance standards. Collaborate with solution architects, developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, data teams, and external vendors. Facilitate workshops, steering committees, status meetings, and decision-making sessions. Track project progress and provide regular reporting to senior management and relevant governance forums. Must Haves: Proven experience in technical project management. Strong knowledge of API management and integration. Ability to analyze and document business requirements.
