The Role: * Diagnose and repair automotive electronic components at both unit and PCB level using specialist diagnostic equipment and software * Lead, mentor and support technicians, providing technical guidance and sharing best practice * Carry out PCB-level repairs, soldering and component replacement to restore products to original performance standards * Identify opportunities to improve remanufacturing processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives * Perform end-of-line testing and quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards * Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with engineering colleagues to improve repair techniques and team capability The Person: * Strong practical knowledge of electronics and electronic fault finding * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams * Experience carrying out PCB-level soldering and electronic component repairs * Automotive electronics experience or knowledge of ECUs would be highly advantageous * Confident using electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools * Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement * High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and engineering excellence Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
