Around 70% of this role is about building, mentoring and directing a high-performing SRE team, setting strategy and driving operational excellence. The remaining 30% will be hands-on involvement in AWS-based platforms, automation and performance tuning. They are seeking an experienced E,C&I technician or Wireperson with strong panel wiring skills, to be successful in the role you must be comfortable working on-site in highly regulated nuclear environments and willing to travel to customer locations across the UK when required. Key Responsibilities of the Site Based Wireperson: Modify and wire control panels and marshalling cabinets using electrical schematics, including cable glanding, terminations, and panel modifications. Update issue logs, red-line drawings, and liaise with site, design, or commissioning engineers to resolve issues. Perform equipment builds, safety checks, wiring tests, insulation resistance tests, power-up checks, and other project-specific hardware tests. Key Requirements of the Site Based Wireperson: Experience of E, C & I installation and Control Panel wiring. Must work well in a team. Able to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, general assembly drawings, wiring schedules and parts lists. Must be prepared to travel and work away at customer sites.
