Infrastructure Engineer New York For this role you will need to have at least 5 to 7 years hands-on proven expertise as an Infrastructure Engineer. This role is key towards promoting and representing IT practices and requires an in-depth knowledge of Apple MAC (iOS), and its supporting desktop applications. Equally essential is a solid understanding and technical awareness of user collaboration tools for conference and video support, messaging, desktop and mobile telephony, asset management tools, file sharing protocols, user permissions and folder administration. Key Responsibilities: Support employees and their (Mac) OS X clients, incl. web-based systems, Microsoft O365 (SharePoint, Email, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.) Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of our backup Infrastructure, including daily backups for applications, laptops, servers and other designated backup hardware. Responsibility for monitoring,response and audit on all NY based systems. Active representation and participation in weekly Change Management meetings. Responsible for IT new starter training and inductions. Maintain all aspects of IT security systems, including access control, alarm systems. Maintenance and upkeep of network management systems (Meraki). Collaborate with global IT colleagues to manage global application deployments, updates to desktop, patch deployments and system updates. Manage daily user related issues and/or risks and escalate as appropriate. Ensure adequate stock levels of critical components are checked weekly, and stock related documents updated, and ordered. Provide timely report to Senior IT management and key stakeholders on progress of dedicated tasks, or on-going activities, by updating weekly focus report. Main Skills Apple MAC Certification an advantage. Microsoft Office 2008+ support essential. MAC OSX Server administration desired. Active Directory administration essential. Azure system administration essential. Adobe application support (Photoshop, Indesign etc), an advantage Exposure to JAMF Mobile Device Management (MDM) an advantage. Microsoft O365 / Azure support an advantage. Exposure to backup applications an advantage (Druva). Prior experience in supporting 100+ employees an advantage. Mobile Device support (iPhone, iPad and MacBook's) essential The Client is based in downtown New York USA. Salary is circa $65K - $90K. Run & Service Transition LeadContexteDans le cadre du programme INDUS 4.0, nous recherchons un Run & Service Transition Lead chargé de construire le modèle opérationnel cible du programme et de préparer le passage progressif des solutions du mode projet vers le Run Le programme met en place plusieurs composants IT/OT critiques : infrastructure, réseau, cybersécurité, plateformes, stockage, backup, IAM, OpenShift, MES et services associés. Le rôle intervient dès la phase Build afin de s'assurer que les solutions livrées sont exploitables, supportables et correctement transférées vers les équipes Run. MissionLe Run & Service Transition Lead est responsable de : Définir et construire le Target Operating Model (TOM) du programme Intégrer les exigences Run dès la phase de conception et de Build Piloter la préparation opérationnelle des solutions Structurer les processus, rôles, responsabilités et outils nécessaires au Run Assurer le lead opérationnel pendant les phases Build, transition, Go-Live et Hypercare Organiser et sécuriser le transfert vers les équipes de support et d'exploitation L'objectif est d'éviter un transfert "documentation en fin de projet" et de construire progressivement le modèle Run en parallèle du Build. Job title: Maximo Database Administrator Location: Derby (Hybrid, 1-2 days per week onsite) IR35: Inside IR35 Contract Length: May 27 Day Rate: £700 - £800 The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Maximo Database Administrator to join a high-profile programme supporting critical enterprise systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a database specialist with strong DB2 expertise and experience supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environments. You will play a key role in database migration, optimisation, security, and ongoing administration, ensuring the platform remains secure, performant, and highly available. Key Responsibilities * Lead and support Oracle-to-DB2 database migration activities. * Administer, maintain, and tune IBM DB2 database environments. * Design and implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. * Optimise database performance across IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) environments. * Ensure database security, governance, and compliance requirements are met. * Refactor and convert Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures for DB2 compatibility. * Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement improvements. * Work closely with infrastructure, application, and development teams to deliver database solutions. Essential Skills & Experience * Proven experience delivering Oracle-to-DB2 migrations. * Strong hands-on experience with DB2 administration, configuration, and performance tuning. * Experience developing and implementing backup and recovery solutions. * Knowledge of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) database architecture and performance optimisation. * Strong understanding of database security, compliance, and best practices. * Experience refactoring and converting PL/SQL stored procedures for DB2 environments. * Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills. Desirable * Experience working within large-scale enterprise or public sector environments. * Knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery solutions. * Experience supporting business-critical applications hosted on DB2.
