Manhattan WMS Platform Engineer Manhattan Platform Engineer with 6+ years experience Technical experience with Manhattan with ambition to learn new technologies Good communicator speaking good understandable English. The candidate should be able to interact with their own team as well as the network & platform team. Knowledge about networking, cloud, Unix and maintaining the Manhattan Platform. the platform runs on cloud (AWS) with RDS database. Experience with installations of SDN’s and upgrading components Willing to learn new techniques like Apache NiFi or other specific technologies. Interested in hardware like printers & Scanners. Knowledge of Docker Swarm, Terraform and Atlantis, Jenkins, Git , and have created Bash scripts. Experience working in Agile Scrum environment. Willing to work in Netherlands time zone Willing to work on call support during non working hours This is a remote position. Initially this will be a 6 to 12 month contract assignment. As our services operate 24/7, you may need to occasionally work outside of office hours, including participating in an on-call rota implementing technical changes, with additional pay for out-of-hours work and on-call. Your main day to day responsibilities will be: Design and document Power Platform infrastructure, producing clear, standards-aligned designs that meet functional and non‑functional requirements and consider design trade‑offs. (DESN) Plan and carry out testing for Power Platform environments and integrations, including manual and automated tests, and report outcomes, risks, and defects. (HSIN) Install, configure, and decommission Power Platform infrastructure components, following standard procedures and ensuring accurate documentation and handover. (ITOP) Operate and maintain Power Platform infrastructure services, including environment provisioning, monitoring, maintenance, backup and restore, and automation of routine tasks. (USUP) Manage infrastructure incidents, correctly logging, diagnosing, and resolving or escalating issues in line with agreed procedures. (TEST) Facilitate technical discussions and workshops, enabling teams and stakeholders to resolve complex infrastructure and operational issues and reach shared decisions. (OFCL) Tools and Technologies We are keen for Engineers to continue learning new technologies, we have a large range in the Home Office including: Code: PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, Python Low code: Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerFX, Power BI, Dynamics Data: Dataverse, SQL Server, Mongodb DevOps: Azure DevOps, Terraform AI: Copilot Studio Working Pattern This role is available on a full-time basis with the option of working. This role is also suitable for working hours, with a minimum requirement to work 3 days per week due to business requirements.
