Our Telecoms client is looking for a Project Network Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. This is a 3 months contract initially and the role is outside IR35. The role is hybrid with 2 days per week working onsite in Glasgow and travel across Scotland will be required. Key responsibilities: * Create and maintain technical documentation and ensure customer networks are documented as part of project handovers * Install, configure, fault find, report and maintain routers, switches and firewalls * Completion of site surveys to enable installation * Rack, charger and telecoms equipment installation and commissioning to an excellent standard * Create Health and Safety documentation such as RAMS, POWRA to ensure H&S measures are adhered to. Required experience: * Proven experience in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network and system environments. * Strong background in IP networking, including CCNA-level knowledge, WAN, LAN, and MPLS. * Hands-on experience with Nokia platforms, including Nokia SAR-H and Nokia NFM-P. * Excellent understanding of routing, switching, and data networking principles. * Experience working with XTran technology. * Proficient in using Microsoft Visio for network and technical diagramming. Systems / Technical Business Analyst Glasgow £49,000 to £58,500 Are you a technically strong Business / Systems Analyst who enjoys working closely with engineers and architects to turn complex business needs into clear, deliverable system designs within large-scale agile environments? In this role, you will sit at the heart of software delivery, working across engineering, QA, architecture and product to translate validated business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will help shape system designs, manage competing architectural and business demands, and ensure teams have the clarity they need to deliver effectively. This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable operating as a developer or tester when required to support sprint goals. Site Based engineer Installation Technicians provide desktop hardware installation services where basic technical skills are required for a service delivery solution. Installation Technicians will typically un-box and install kit to desk and connect peripherals, connect cables (eg power and network) and perform any relevant power on self-tests. Basic steps to start automated builds and simple scripted post-login configuration may also be required. Technicians may be asked to work variable shift patterns as business requires. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office in Glasgow. The rate is £275 per day outside IR35.
