Your work will involve managing complex data relationships in a Graph Database (Amazon Neptune), orchestrating AI workflows via Amazon Bedrock, and crucially developing the Feedback API. This API is the cornerstone of our "Human-in-the-Loop" strategy, allowing clinical experts to provide structured feedback on AI-generated content, which in turn matures our machine learning models and ensures clinical safety. Key Responsibilities · API Development & Feedback Loop: Design and maintain robust REST/GraphQL APIs, including the specialized Feedback API which captures human validation of AI-extracted facts and semantic triples. · Knowledge Graph Engineering: Develop SPARQL/Gremlin queries and data mutation patterns for Amazon Neptune to manage complex clinical taxonomies and content relationships. · AI Orchestration: Build backend integrations with Amazon Bedrock for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), entity extraction, and automated content tagging. · Search Infrastructure: Implement and optimize hybrid search logic, combining vector embeddings in Amazon OpenSearch with structured graph traversals. · Serverless Workflows: Design and deploy event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge to handle complex content processing pipelines. · Data Integrity & Security: Ensure all data handling complies with NICE security standards, using KMS encryption and robust IAM roles within the AWS London Region. · Collaborative Discovery: Work with Infrastructure Architects and UX Designers during the discovery phase to ensure technical feasibility and system performance. Technical Stack & Skills Backend Mastery (Essential) · Languages: Expert-level Python (preferred for AI/Data) or Node.js/TypeScript. · Cloud Native AWS: Deep experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS/SNS. · Database Expertise: Proven experience with Graph Databases (Amazon Neptune / SPARQL) and NoSQL environments. · Search Technologies: Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, specifically regarding vector database capabilities. AI & Data Integration (Highly Desirable) · Generative AI: Familiarity with LLM integration (Amazon Bedrock, LangChain, or similar frameworks). · Feedback Systems: Experience building "Human-in-the-loop" (HITL) systems where user input directly influences data model accuracy. · DevOps/IaC: Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation to manage infrastructure.
