IT Support Engineer – 6 Months – Remote My client is looking for an IT Support Engineer with an expertise in patch engineering to join on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role focused on helping to maintain secure systems and assisting with patching activities to reduce a critical security backlog across 2,700 devices. Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer: Assist in reviewing vulnerability alerts using Qualys and support patching activities with guidance from senior engineers. Help deliver patch updates for end user devices and maintain security standards. Document processes, issues, and resolutions clearly for the wider IT team Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer: Basic understanding or interest in security patching and vulnerability management. Proven experience with Qualys . Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 for troubleshooting and basic security tasks. Experience with SCCM or similar tools is helpful but not essential. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. This is a senior, strategic role responsible for leading multiple workstreams, delivering complex technology change, and driving the adoption of Microsoft 365 and related technologies across the business. The role offers the opportunity to work on global migrations, AI and Copilot implementations, and portfolio-level Modern Workplace transformation, influencing both technical and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities of the M365 Portfolio Delivery Lead: Lead the Modern Workplace portfolio, including multiple programmes and initiatives, ensuring delivery against agreed outcomes, budget, and timelines. Oversee project managers and PMO resources, providing leadership, mentoring, and line management where required. Drive technical strategy and optimisation, including licence rationalisation, legacy estate transformation, and fit-for-purpose design solutions. Lead the introduction and adoption of AI technologies and Copilot, including governance, policy, and business integration. Infrastructure Engineer – Chippenham – AWS Administrator – 6 Month Contract My client needs an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and apply changes to AWS systems across the production and development environments. The contract will include a mixture of Project and BAU work. The successful candidate will have a strong background with AWS Administration, Microsoft stack and networking. Technology and Experience of the Infrastructure Engineer: Must have proven experience of AWS Systems Administration. Other systems such as Azure may be considered. Must have Strong Microsoft Stack skills including extensive experience using Windows Server, AD and Intune. Experience within a virtual environment is necessary using Hyper V.
