Description du poste Le cluster concerné constitue le point d’entrée pour tous les sujets d’infrastructures et de production liés aux activités de banque d’investissement. Ce modèle intègre une approche globale avec les différents hubs régionaux. L’ingénierie build réseaux & sécurité est responsable de la mise en place des nouvelles solutions et/ou des changements importants sur les infrastructures réseaux & sécurités à l’échelle mondiale. Expérience confirmée dans la collaboration avec divers profils (chefs de projet, architectes, ingénieurs applicatifs, etc.) requise. Capacité à communiquer et vulgariser les éléments à mettre en œuvre du point de vue réseau & sécurité, et à se coordonner avec les différents interlocuteurs, en français comme en anglais. Expérience souhaitée sur des environnements « switchés » et « routés », avec maîtrise des protocoles tels que STP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS. Compétence avérée sur les équipements de sécurité tels que proxy, F5, firewalls. Approche proactive dans l’optimisation du temps de travail par l’automatisation des tâches réseau via des outils comme Ansible, Python. SC / DV Gigamon SME Target Start: 01/01/2026 Target End: 31/01/2027 Type: Contractor Location: Bracknell (fulltime onsite) Working Pattern: Monday-Friday IR35: Inside Rate: £600/day (negotiable) Brief overview on the role/project: We are looking for an experienced network engineer to act as a Gigamon SME as part of a team involved in the rollout of a large Cyber Project for large government client. * Working under the direction of a team lead remote configuration of hardware. * Build & Configure and Harden Juniper switches as per build guides. * Build and configure Gigamon physical device and connect/onboard to Gigavue FM Management server. Mandatory skills: * Extensive network engineer experience. Demonstrate network projects (preferably Cisco) where you have worked in a team to implement hardware into customer sites. N.B. The plan will be to use experience Gigamon resources within the team to provide assistance to bring individuals up to speed. * Have the ability to work well within a team and develop a positive working relationship with other project teams. * Have good and clear communications when interacting with peers, management, and customers. * Excellent attention to detail. * Experience working for large government customers. * Positive can-do attitude. * Self-starter who can implement solutions with minimal supervision and can think through any issues and report back regarding issue and recommendation to fix. * Visit to customer sites to install hardware within racks. * Remote support of hardware during customer testing. * Provide updates to the PM and team lead regarding progress. * Engagement with service teams to ensure that new hardware is effectively taken into support. * You will need to be onsite 4/5 days a week during the role duration to enable access to the Production environment. * Applicants may need to flexible in terms of hours worked because some implementations are likely outside normal working hours due to customer day to day activities.
