Job Title: Senior Cyber Certification Specialist Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience What you'll be doing: Lead complex cyber audits across SS EIT, document findings, create and present risk-based recommendations Review and test applicable security control against internal and external frameworks such as, Group cyber security standards, Cyber Essentials standards, Defstan Coordinate and plan and schedule all re assurance duties in line with Defstan requirements. Work with technical teams to validate remediation plans and track to closure Advise manager of emerging risks, control gaps, and increase compliance posture. Support in the external accreditation activities Your skills and experiences: Essential: Educated to degree level (or equivalent) preferably in a related technical discipline. A good understanding of MOD Cyber Security Model, NIST 800-53, Cyber Essentials Some working knowledge of industry recognised Cyber Security Standards and best practice including HMG / Government Sector. The Cyber Assurance Team: The team covers a multi domain enterprise level exposure, DCC (Defence Cyber Certification) is a new capability being built to meet an increasing MOD supplier requirement. Following existing SS EIT assurance process and Technology reviews, this position will form a key role in meeting and maintaining the new MOD requirements. Why BAE Systems? Service mission : Project Managemen t: Following end-to-end delivery of GenAI shared assets within designated workstreams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines. Stakeholder Collaboration : Coordinating with business units, Program manager, Business Analyst, Product owner, AI engineers, and country teams to gather requirements, managing expectations. Asset Design : Overseeing the planning and designing and generalizing GenAI assets Adoption : Actively contribute to selling and ensuring assets adoption. Pre sales posture. Implementation : Driving the deployment of assets across multiple countries, ensuring consistent application and integration into existing processes. Timeline Management : Developing detailed project plans and monitoring progress to meet strict deadlines before year-end. Risk Management : Identifying potential risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to ensuring project success. Reporting and Governance : Providing regular updates to senior management on project status, challenges, and achievements. Ensuring adherence to governance frameworks. Chasing stakeholders to ensure status is always up to date. Continuous Improvement : Capturing lessons learned and best practices to refining processes and improving future asset development initiatives. Objectifs et livrables Technical expertise : Technical background (engineering is a plus). Expertise in project management tools and methodologies. Expertise in Safe methodology, any certification (PSPO, Scrum master…) is nice to have. Expertise with the insurance industry or related sectors (claims, underwriting, health) is advantageous. Expertise on Generative AI, and related technologies is nice to have. Expertise : English environment is MANDATORY Excellent communication expertise: be able to embark stakeholders and drive adoption, internal presales expertise Stakeholder management and organizational expertise working in large complex international environments Expertise managing cross-functional teams and multiple workstreams working in remote locations, ability to create bonds with co-workers. Proven expertise in project management within AI, or technology-driven environments for Business application.
