About the Role: We are now seeking a Senior IT Technician to join our team in Bridgend. This is a senior-level role ideal for a highly skilled and experienced IT professional with strong 3rd Line support capabilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery. This role will also include attending our partners' sites, when on-site assistance is needed. Responsibilities: Provide expert-level technical support across a wide range of technologies including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user devices. Act as a senior escalation point for complex incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to recurring issues. Support and manage infrastructure projects such as server migrations, network upgrades, and cloud deployments. Maintain and improve internal documentation, processes, and knowledge base articles. Deliver on-site support for critical issues and project work as required. Collaborate with junior technicians to mentor and support their development. Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met consistently, with a focus on customer satisfaction and service quality. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to systems and processes. What we're looking for: Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a 2nd/3rd Line IT support role, ideally within a managed service provider or multi-client environment. Strong technical knowledge in: Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) Microsoft 365 administration and support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP Networking (VLANs, firewalls, routers/switches) Virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) Backup and disaster recovery solutions Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools and ticketing systems. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. An established engineering company are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. The role takes full technical responsibility for the top‑level design, integration and validation of vehicle electro‑optical systems. It defines electronic architecture, subsystem requirements, power and signal integration, video and data management and compliance with environmental and EMC standards. It supports system testing at bench, rig, vehicle and field level while contributing to safety cases, qualification activities and lifecycle reviews. The position requires electronic engineering experience, structured systems thinking and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while working independently on complex technical challenges. You must have solid expertise of at least 5 years experience of working with and developing software with C# Dot Net and MS SQL Server and SSIS – SSIS is very important for this position. Responsible for the development and delivery of new systems to automate and streamline processes required by different departments. To support the internal IT department with changes and upgrades to software platforms. To be primary contact for all technical questions relating to in-house bespoke systems and interfacing. Data Support Supporting budgeting and financial planning processes for Finance department, including loading and refreshing of data based on requirements. Understand and conduct the front-end functionality to amend and change hierarchical structures within the environment. Build data flows within the SQL environment in SSIS packages. Risk & Regulatory Duties Maintain knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements including the Bank’s Risk and Compliance policies and procedures and adhere to these to avoid exposing the Bank to undue risk. Report policy/procedure breaches and areas of potential non-compliance and suspicions promptly upon identification in accordance with the Bank's Risk and Compliance policies. Must have solid experience of working with SSIS and building data warehouses. The Client is a Bank based in the Central London. Must have a degree qualification. This is a 12 month FTC position with a salary of circa £55K - £70K. This is a hybrid position - you will be required to be in the office at least 3 days week.
