Our client is looking for a number of Technical Architects to join their team. The roles are hybrid working out of London, Leeds or Edinburgh. The rate for Leeds and Edinburgh is £340 per day and the rate for London is £380 per day. Please note that the role is inside IR35. The Technical Architect role sits within Technology - Strategy & Architecture - Enterprise Architecture Consulting, that is responsible for the overall architecture. Required experience: * Experience as a Technical/Solution Architect designing products, platforms, systems and components on multiple programmes and projects. * Experience of designing and implementing digital and/or data platform solutions * Experience working with AWS technologies. * Experience of best practice solution architecture across all architecture domains and key platform technologies (Salesforce, O365, SharePoint, Cloud technologies, Data analysis and Data management tools, Integration technologies) * Commercial awareness and hands-on experience at costing solution options, understanding procurement frameworks and promoting cost effective solutions. As Principal Technical Architect, you’ll be the driving force behind defining and embedding architectural strategy, ensuring it’s not only well-crafted but consistently delivered. In this leadership role, you’ll influence, engage and advise teams (engineering and architecture), making enterprise-wide technology decisions that shape national capability. With a primary focus on apps, you’ll address design, development, enterprise CI/CD, tooling and product selection, overseeing delivery when required. You’ll also manage the architecture and migration to cloud-based providers, such as AWS, Azure and Oracle.
