Problem Manager - Remote - Outside IR35 Must have an active SC Clearance The role covers Problem Records, Known Errors, Workarounds, trend analysis, Post Incident Reviews and continual service improvement. This position is suited to an experienced Problem Manager with strong IT service management expertise who is comfortable working across technical teams, customers and senior service stakeholders. Problem Manager Responsibilities Own and manage the end-to-end Problem Management process and associated governance. Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations into major, recurring and complex incidents. Coordinate technical and service teams to identify underlying causes of service issues. Create, maintain and manage Problem Records throughout their lifecycle. Identify and document Known Errors and appropriate Workarounds. Develop and track corrective and preventative actions through to completion. Analyse incident trends and recurring service issues to identify potential problems before further disruption occurs. Lead Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) and ensure agreed actions are documented and completed. Drive continual service improvement initiatives based on problem trends, RCA findings and lessons learned. Ensure lessons learned are captured, communicated and embedded across relevant service teams. Produce clear Root Cause Analysis reports for customers, leadership and service teams. Work closely with Incident Management, Change Management, technical resolver groups and service stakeholders to improve service stability. Problem Manager Skills and Experience Strong experience working within Problem Management in complex IT service environments. Proven experience owning and governing the Problem Management lifecycle. Strong Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience. Experience leading Post Incident Reviews (PIRs) following major or recurring incidents. Experience creating and managing Problem Records and Known Error Records. Strong understanding of Known Error Management and the development of operational Workarounds. Experience producing and managing Corrective Action Plans and Preventative Improvement Plans. Strong incident trend analysis and recurring problem identification experience. Experience driving continual service improvement and preventative action initiatives. Strong understanding of IT service management processes and the relationship between Problem, Incident and Change Management. Experience producing RCA reports, service improvement documentation and lessons learned. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical teams, customers and senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate multiple technical teams through complex investigations. What will the Dynamics CE Solution Architect be doing day-to-day? Advising customers on the fit of Microsoft Dynamics to their environment, infrastructure, functional and non-functional needs, and their compliance requirements Leading the architecture and technical design of Dynamics 365 CE Sales, Service and Marketing solutions, Power Platform and Field Services Interface with BAs, SME end-users and functional leads to ensure architecture and design meets their needs including integration with third party systems Guiding the design of the Dynamics functional and technical teams on the project Supporting the Delivery Lead planning delivery of solutions and their implementation What type of experience does the Dynamics 365 CE Solution Architect need to be successful in this role? Must have over 15+ years of experience in Microsoft stack with strong experience working as a Technical Consultant or Architect in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM) Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and experience of working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics CRM/365 CE (4.0, 2011, 2013, 2016, 365) Lead the design of solutions with BAs, SME end-users and Dynanmics 365 Functional Lead to understand customers environment and advise on fit of Dynamics to their needs including integration with third party systems. Able to guide work of the Dynamics Developers, and product SMEs on the project Able to write high level solution architecture and detailed Technical Design documentation Experienced in data integration and data migration Experience with onsite/offshore delivery models Experience with defined frameworks (MVC, Entity Framework and Enterprise Library) Strong client facing communication skills Experienced providing Pre-Sales demonstrations. Technically experienced in: SQL Server 2008 or above with custom report experience through SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and FetchXML .NET Framework Version 4.5 or above including strong WCF\ Web API experience Knowledge of Web development, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, Javascript and SQL C# and OOPS concepts Typescript and its conversion to JavaScript Azure Logic Apps Good to have experience and knowledge of Microsoft Azure Power Apps and Portal Field Services Customer Insight What education and certification credentials are needed for this role? Diagnose and resolve customer incidents and technical enquiries within agreed timescales. Take ownership of customer problems and escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams. Follow established service management processes and accurately document actions and resolutions. Maintain service levels and ensure customer expectations and SLAs are achieved. Support more complex escalations and unexpected technical problems. Monitor service performance through reporting and analysis. Maintain Known Errors, Workarounds and fixes within the knowledge database. Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and existing support processes.
