Our client looking for tester automation Writing test plans and test scenarios The mission consists in writing a test plan and test scenarios based on existing documentation and existing functionalities for the above-mentioned applications. Make a recommendation on the tests to execute (for example on non-regression tests) based on Acceptance criteria defined in User Stories and based on the identified risks. The test scenarios include: Functional testing Non-functional testing (volume, performance, security, data quality, ...) Integration testing Non regression testing All the documents are written in English and must be accessible by any European reader having a basic knowledge of English. Preparing test data Test data must be selected or created before executing the test scenarios. Executing the test scenarios An important part of the mission is to execute the test plan / test scenarios and document test results success or failed with test evidences like logs and screen shots. This must be done pragmatically and with efficiency in mind and within the planning of the team. Test automation In coordination with the team, select the test cases to be integrated in an automated test suite. Do the implementation of the test automation. Maintain and execute the automated test suites regularly. Follow up of defects Report and follow up the defects in our bug-tracking tools. Update and maintain the test documents with the results of the tests. Achieving the adequate quality level in collaboration with the developers and the project leader will be the main goal. The tester is responsible for giving the “Go” to the team to deploy from the test environment to the acceptance environment and will have to consider (and reproduce in test) any defect found in acceptance or production environment. the IT Application Manager (ITAM) will be responsible for the planning and working assignment of the tester. **SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED, 2 DAYS ONSITE IN TELFORD** Project Overview: This role will form part of a new scrum team within Minerva Platform to develop and deliver the Ingestion and Risking within the SAS Platform including IDP. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Test Automation Specialist to join our core build delivery team. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and pipelines to support the deployment and validation of analytics solutions on the SAS Viya 4 platform. Key Responsibilities: Working as part of an Agile team participate in ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, demos and reporting. Utilise strong Stakeholder Management and communication skills to collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and Business Analysts to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and technical specifications Ensure that appropriate automation tooling is implemented and utilised to meet business and technical needs. Design and implement automation test strategies and plans for SAS Viya 4 applications, for UI based Visual Analytics (VA) and Intelligent Decisioning (ID), as well as for integration testing of data pipelines. Develop and maintain test scripts using appropriate automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, JUnit) and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Confirm the test data strategy to be used Maintain and evolve the test automation suite to support regression, performance, and integration testing. Support the integration of test automation into Git-based CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test environments, including SAS Viya containerized deployments (e.g., OpenShift, Kubernetes). Contribute to test data management and environment provisioning strategies Ensure that appropriate defect management is undertaken Ensure results and progress are clearly articulated to relevant stakeholders.
