About the Job 3rd Line Cisco Support Analyst We require a 3rd Level Cisco Support Analyst for our Client based in Gloucester. You must have at least 2 to 3 years experience of supporting applications on a Cisco platform at 3rd line support level. Full understanding of the architectural and engineering design and integration process of communications solutions. Ability to multi-task, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives. Strong client service oriented and ability to interact with clients, staff, and management teams. Good verbal and written business communication skills. Ability to work independently, with a high degree of initiative, and within a collaborative team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills The ability to install and maintain complex solutions in an ever evolving market place, to problem solve in a logical manner in order to rectify customer issues efficiently. The responsibilities include developing the network design in conjunction with Product Management. To implement the network design in chosen locations. Work with Product Management to design the support processes and communicate these out to the support teams within Nine. To support partners in the implementation and support of their own customer installations including some out of hours on call duty. To monitor and maintain the hosted infrastructure and respond to and resolve any faults that may arise using diagnostic tools and vendor support. Must have the following skills: Cisco, Microsoft, Linux and other relevant certifications Server administration including Windows and Linux Knowledge of voice prioritization including QoS and VLANS Proficient in the operation and management of routers and switches (qualified to CCNA or equivalent) In-depth expertise in VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, TFTP and related Protocols) and delivery and support of voice applications using these technologies Knowledge of IP based technologies, with an understanding of LAN/WAN methodologies and topologies as a minimum. You will be working in a small team managing the day-to-day technology infrastructure to ensure that the Bank can operate efficiently. Responsible for the maintenance of the IT infrastructure of the Bank by providing first line support of software, hardware and networking that incudes installation, configuration and troubleshooting Manage day to day operational aspects of a project and scope To design, plan and deploy IT projects to enhance the existing IT infrastructure and also any applications required by the bank. End User Computing support for all staff. Deskptop Support Analyst Key Accountabilities: Assisting with overseeing the security aspects of the company / project IT set-up including websites that may be hosted internally or externally. Proactive assistance with the systems implementations projects to assist with a smooth implementation and roll out. Ensuring that all IT assets are properly controlled and software is correctly licensed and that acceptable service levels are maintained across all systems. Dealing with hardware issues, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices both in person and remotely. Providing Desktop/Laptop support including the following technologies: Microsoft Office 365 products – Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, Windows 7, desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers and others as assigned. Providing investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware / software problems. When unable to resolve, escalating in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes. Managing service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc. Providing enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs through the defined processes. Support of VoIP telephony and Android mobile phones. Working with TCP/IP and resolving general networking issues. Experience: Extensive IT/Commercial experience gained within a fast-paced environment? Experience of GAMP 5 and working within a GxP environment in providing superior customer service and support. Experience of working within a technical support position, covering Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and various business applications within a fast-paced business environment. Proven experience of 1st/2nd and 3rd line infrastructure support. Knowledge of multiple desktop programs, configuration and debugging techniques, VoIP telephony systems, Mobile phone support, network technologies. Project management skills, including the ability to effectively deploy resources and manage multiple projects of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment. Knowledge / Skills / Competencies: Highly motivated, pragmatic and practical with a strong work ethic and eye for detail with good problem resolution, judgement and decision making skills. Able to evaluate complex situations and find solutions for them in a professional manner. Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
