Site Infrastructure Engineer South East England - Field Based (Southampton, Kent and up to Cardington) £30,000 - £35,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance Excellent opportunity for an IT Support or Infrastructure Engineer looking for a varied, field-based position where you will become the go-to technical contact for multiple operational sites across the South East. In this varied role, you will support the network, IT and communications infrastructure across sites throughout the South East. You'll troubleshoot LAN and WAN equipment, install hardware, support Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 environments, and assist with data and voice cabling. You will also coordinate third-party suppliers and act as an escalation point between central support teams and site-based colleagues. The territory stretches from Southampton across to Kent and as far north as Cardington, with much of the current activity concentrated around Rainham and the wider Kent area. This is a genuinely field-based role, so you'll need to be comfortable travelling between sites and managing your own workload. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting networks and end-user IT equipment within a multi-site, field-based or operational environment. You will need a full UK driving licence and should be confident working independently, communicating with non-technical colleagues and representing the IT function on site.
