Data Analyst with VBA programming and PL/SQL Our Client a financial institution with offices in Canary Wharf London – are looking to recruit a Data Analyst with VBA and PL/SQL development experience. You must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Financial sector. Excellent ability to profile data and come to substantive conclusions in response to business questions Ability to communicate conclusions through writing clear documentation or through verbal communication to both business and IT users Attention to detail and ability to grasp underlying complexities in data Strong VBA and SQL skills with respect to data profiling and data discovery as well as high proficiency in MS Excel Must have development and definitional knowledge of VBA and PL/SQL and ETL (the fundamental concepts, rather than actual scripting or development, although experience developing is a plus) Exposure to BREs and data mapping exercises Experience in functional and data testing Grasp of data modelling concepts and ability to create data flow diagrams Knowledge of financial markets, ratings and financial data (significant exposure is a plus, but not required) Strong team player with a focus on quality, attention to detail with excellent communication and Written skills. Senior Software Developer with Liferay or Angular You have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other IT related education please (Bachelor/Master). Must be very enthusiastic about Java-based web/enterprise application development and deployment and have experience with Java. The Client would like to see working knowledge and at least 2 to 3 years experience with Angular 5 and/or Liferay 7 / DXP. Experience with the Spring Framework is a must coupled with extensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS (SASS), JavaScript and Jquery. Good sense of web design and Single-Page Application (SPA) development. Knowledge of cloud software design (AWS / Azure). You need to be a fast learner, willing to learn and implement new technologies. There are several locations for this contract assignment – Norwich, Reading, Surrey, Luton. The rate is negotiable. Duration will be 6 months. FIS Integrity Treasury Systems Support Analyst Our Client is in the process of implementing a Treasury System from FIS called Integrity. You must have at least 2 to 4 years experience of working with and supporting FIS Integrity's Treasury System. The Client may consider experience of FIS Quantum as well. Any software development skills with C# .net, C++ and SQL Server would be very useful for this role. This will be a hybrid role with 3 days in the office in Central London.
