Industrial Software Engineer Scunthorpe - 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote Following Probation £40,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid Working + Benefits Are you a Software Engineer with strong C# and SQL skills looking to develop and support production-critical applications within a complex industrial manufacturing environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist engineering team responsible for developing and supporting systems that underpin large-scale manufacturing operations. Working within a diverse operational technology environment, you will be involved in application development, database management, system integration and operational support for business-critical platforms. You will play a key role in improving system reliability, data integrity and overall performance while contributing to the ongoing modernisation of legacy platforms. This is a varied position offering exposure to industrial systems, data platforms, process control technologies and business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience with C# development and SQL databases, alongside a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement. Experience within a manufacturing, industrial or process-based environment would be advantageous. A basic understanding of PLCs or industrial control systems would also be beneficial, although direct PLC programming experience is not essential.
