main responsibilities would be: 1. The creation and maintenance of Rough-Cut Capacity Planning models. 2. To detail plan methods of manufacture in response to tasking requirements with full regard to time, cost and quality. 3. Ensuring the local MRP system is updated and accurate. 4. Ensuring that customer requirements are planned and released to Manufacturing and Operational activities within the timescales required. 5. To provide manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operation times. 6. Compliance with Inventory control processes. 7. To demonstrate and use 'Lean Planning' techniques and 'Production Control' processes such as visual management, Kanban and Push/Pull in the operational/ manufacturing areas. 8. Experience of working in operational environment, production, and/or supply chain functions. Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities * Work as an operational team member in the backup team * BAU operations (daily checks and manual backup refreshes) * BAU storage management tasks (Robocopy etc) * Maintaining directory structures and DFS of enterprise storage * Supporting Storage and backup related aspects of any Digital Solutions projects ongoing * Process Service Now tickets and ADO tickets * Supporting delivery activities as needed * Responding to service failures * Improving the service and introducing automation where possible Qualifications * Experience in operations support functional and backup domain Technical & Functional skills and background experience * Operational experience with the following would be preferred * Avamar * NetBackup * Storage Protect/ Plus Preferred Skills * Experience in Leonardo IT operational processes * Experience in Leonardo IT operational backup systems * SC Cleared Storage & Backup Engineer to work mostly remote (1 to 2 days a week onsite) LA International is an award-winning partner of choice for many of the world's most influential companies and government organisations.
