The role will work across business and IT teams to deliver SAP ABAP developments, interface integrations, technical specifications, and support critical project milestones. Experience in SAP HCM and Workforce Management environments is considered essential to ensure continuity and successful delivery. Sourcing Strategy: The requirement targets a senior SAP ABAP consultant with proven expertise in SAP development, integrations, SAP HCM, and Workforce Management processes. Due to the niche combination of SAP technical skills, HR domain knowledge, and mandatory English/French language capabilities, sourcing will focus on specialised external SAP talent pools across Europe to identify a candidate capable of contributing immediately with minimal ramp-up time. Business Case: This role is critical to supporting the successful delivery of the Workday programme and associated transformation initiatives. The consultant will: Ensure timely delivery of SAP developments and integrations. Support SAP-to-application interfaces and business-critical processes. Provide specialist expertise in HR and Workforce Management solutions. Reduce pressure on existing internal teams and close current capability gaps. Support troubleshooting, testing, cutover, and hypercare activities during key project phases. Accelerate delivery through direct engagement with business stakeholders and technical teams. Risk: Failure to secure this expertise presents a high risk to programme delivery, including: Delays to Workday and transformation project milestones. Increased dependency on already constrained internal resources. Reduced capacity to support complex SAP integrations and developments.
