Initiates formal testing of the recovery system. Develops database procedures as necessary to enhance the application suite as required. Maintains to a high standard documentation supporting the build, maintenance and operational procedures of the database environment. Acts as the technical liaison between database operations and vendor support. Performs other related duties as assigned. You must have at least 5 to 7 years solid expertise as a MS SQL Server DBA – Database Administrator. Must have the Microsoft SQL Server Administration (Enterprise Edition) experience. High Level T-SQL programming (SP, Functions, Triggers). Operation, design and implementation experience of Mirroring, Log Shipping and SQL Server Replication. SQL Reporting services and Analysis services maintenance and tuning. Configuration and operation of clustered database Servers using external storage. Scripting stored procedures. Security concepts of database management. Change management concepts and application The role will be to work as a MS SQL DBA with an element of supporting financial applications.
