Database Engineer with SQL Server SSIS, SSRS and SSAS Our Client is a bank based in Central London who are looking to recruit a Database Engineer with the ability to work with SSIS. You must have solid expertise of at least 5 years experience of working with MS SQL Server and SSIS – SSIS is very important for this position. Responsible for the development and delivery of new systems to automate and streamline processes required by different departments. To support the internal IT department with changes and upgrades to software platforms. To be primary contact for all technical questions relating to in-house bespoke systems and interfacing. Database Support Supporting budgeting and financial planning processes for Finance department, including loading and refreshing of data based on requirements. Understand and conduct the front-end functionality to amend and change hierarchical structures within the environment. Debug and analyse errors and anomalies within Hyperion system as raised by Finance and to pinpoint areas of failure and correct any issues. Liaise with Finance on a daily basis to ensure smooth running of the Hyperion environment. Build data flows within the SQL environment in SSIS packages. Risk & Regulatory Duties Maintain knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements including the Bank’s Risk and Compliance policies and procedures and adhere to these to avoid exposing the Bank to undue risk. Report policy/procedure breaches and areas of potential non-compliance and suspicions promptly upon identification in accordance with the Bank's Risk and Compliance policies. Accurately execute all controls within own area to minimise risk of policy, procedure, and/or regulatory breaches. End of Day Cycle: To provide second and third level support for in-house programmes during the end of day cycle. To be able to analyse and rectify any problems raised in an independent and team scenario. To take ownership of a problem and deliver a solution in a timely manner. Provide out of office hours support. Risk & Regulatory Duties Maintain knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements including the Bank’s Risk and Compliance policies and procedures and adhere to these to avoid exposing the Bank to undue risk. Dans le cadre de la poursuite de la mise en place de la plateforme décisionnelle au sein du SI de notre client, nous recherchons un développeur MS BI confirmé opérationnel immédiatement sur les technologies utilisées (Voir $Connaissances Indispensables) Le consultant participera au développement et à la maintenance évolutive et corrective du système décisionnel. Cette ressource sera positionnée au sein de l’équipe BI dans le service MOE E&D. Vous aurez à effectuer les actions suivantes : • Participer à la formalisation des spécifications fonctionnelles • Analyser les besoins et identifier les éventuels impacts sur l’existant • Proposer des solutions et participer à la phase de modélisation. • Contribuer aux choix d’architecture technique (en lien avec l’équipe projet DWH et les équipes infrastructure/architecture) • Contribuer au plan de charge et à la définition du planning • Rédiger les spécifications techniques • Prendre en charge le développement nouvelles demandes (Intégration de nouvelles données, Cubes, Rapports, …) • Rédaction des documents d’exploitation • Rédiger les consignes de pilotage • Accompagner la Direction Informatique lors des phases de déploiement en homologation et production • Accompagner le métier Reporting lors des phases de recette • Accompagner l’équipe Support & Maintenance • Assurer la maintenance corrective (3ème niveau) • Assurer les remontées d’informations auprès du responsable MOE E&D SQL Server 2012(migration vers 2022 en cours) (Requêtes, Vues, Procédures stockées, Optimisation, …), SSIS, SSAS (Cube tabulaire), DAX, SSRS, Visual Studio 2022, Azure DevOps, PowerBI

Our client is looking for a DBA with experience in database technologies and good understanding of SQL/Oracle development. This is a contract role initially for 6 months with good possibility of extension. Please note that this role is fully onsite - 4 days per week in London and 1 day onsite in Milton Keynes. Due to nature of the role DV + NPPV3 clearance is required.
