Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Cyber)

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary: Circa £55,000 dependent on experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading on understanding the business need when demand enters the programme, define initial scope and be able to articulate the supporting business justification
  • Eliciting business requirements from multiple high profile stakeholders and business groups
  • Helping build buy in and obtain sign-off of the high level business goals and requirements from Senior Management
  • Establishing and maintaining strong stakeholder (internal and external) relationships, maintaining regular dialogue and managing expectations.
  • Planning and leading workshops with stakeholders at all levels for requirements and business process capture and documentation.
  • Ensuring governance in delivering correct Business Analysis artefacts
  • Creating programme level approaches to Business Analysis

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience eliciting, documenting and prioritising requirements for technical IT projects, including leading workshops for requirements and business process capture
  • Proven personal experience of stakeholder management including influencing different levels of stakeholder multiple business functions and areas
  • Process modelling and continuous improvement experience

Desirable:

  • Demonstrable experience of working within a structured and well governed IT Project environment
  • Recognised Business Analysis qualifications such as BCS BA Diploma, IIBA, AgileBA
  • Recognised IT qualification such as ITIL certification
  • Experience of working at a programme level or delivering across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Experience working in an agile context and or with a product based framework

The Cyber Capability Centre Team:

The team carries requirements management, process development and business change, across a major programme of work within Cyber Security. This role will also support the Function Leads in driving Business Analysis and Business Change best practice within EIT.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to support full lifecycle consultancy to senior business stakeholders in order to help shape programmes of work, establish feasibility and see them through to delivery. This includes identification and management of project stakeholders, supporting definition of project scope and objectives and assessing business needs to embed and ensure success.
